So several months ago Japanese has come up with this theory, the cover of the Tankobon are actually the representation of an existing parallel universe and Armin was killed by Annie in volume 6.

What do you think?
>>
The friendship in 104th is thin as paper in this universe.
>>
Annie killed Armin without any hesitation, because they were not friend at all. And notice that 3DMG was still with Armin.
BRA can do whatever they want now, basically.
>>
Eren decided not to trust his comrades, because he has no concept of trust.
In manga his concept of trust towards comrades was developed among 104th.
>>
So we don't see Armin here.
>>
We don't see Armin here either.
>>
Ymir did not transform. The tower was still intact. We still couldn't see Armin.

For some reasons Ymir decided to team up with Eren.
