I love you kud.
I love you.

fucking captcha was hard as fuck
i swear they only get harder every day.
I failed 6 times trying to post this >>100024311

They seem to be getting easier for me. Am I the chosen one?
They're getting more annoying for sure, it's probably some plan to make us all buy passes
Kanon is the only decent key series
That's not Mare

Whoa now, you've been hanging out with Kud way to much
Kotori a best.
Old polls, but let's get some more data.
Forgetting to post
Just finished Rewrite.
What the bloody fuck was that true route? I was expecting this to be better than refrain/after story.
Besides the Esaka fight, that was very.... mediocre...
>not posting >posting Lucia
I-I was just pretending to be retarded
To be fair, the biggest problem was the lack of cgs/sprites.
Hey guys, I just wanted to share this beautiful picture of not Kurugaya
Terra was never meant to have the kind of emotional impact compared to the endings you listed. It was a nice ending that wrapped up the story. Don't say this to the Terra fans out there though. They will jump all over you.
Just don't let it happen again, Lewdcia.
Looks like Kurugaya to me.
Too bad it all comes about due to Kotarou's "love" for earth Kagari...
It feels like it had less to do with actually caring about saving the ecosystem but with Kotarou's LOVE.
But Kagari is the only one that is truly neutral, with every other girl he's pretty much shelved away into a faction.
It's a very polarizing route indeed.
To go with what someone just replied, I do think the lack of sprites held it back quite a bit.
Some characters died and I didn't care for them, and it was hard enough to care for the characters and story in the first place with the memory wipe. It was a real "fuck you" from Romeo Tanaka in terms of going against what the audience wants and giving the true conclusion to the story. It makes it feel so foreign and desolate I think. I was really upset by it because of my high expectations. I do wish it could've been more pertinent to the main character cast, because I couldn't feel attached to the story, and with how long it was and with how much stuff was going on, the story really needed that. The lack of CGs just made the experience almost entirely forgettable to me, though. I might re-read it if there's an anime announced soon.
It seemed like the type of conclusion the story was going for could've still worked if it kept memories intact.
I mean, imagine if Takeru lost his memories from Extra and Unlimited in the Alternative timeline, and only retained his improved physique and cognitive skills.
It's not, actually. The eye colors are different.
Are there actually people who think Terra is the best route?
Did you celebrate her birthday 4 days ago?
Of course, decided to finish watching Kanon
Wasn't aware that it was her Bday, and the regular Ayu posters didn't say anything. They let us down.
God I would love a remake of old Key VNs with better art.
Air will never get a remake because Misuzu is dead.
They can just take the old voice files
That would mean they can't add shit to her route other than more CGs and shit like that.
That's what I mean by remake.
This nigga gets it
Thats not Mare!
>I mean, imagine if
That's pretty much Exactly what happens.
I didn't think the memory wipe was such a big problem.
Truly best key girl.
Well, you get what you pay for, I suppose.
Put the cloak on, man.
It didn't come with one.
Nigga did you buy it on ebay or something
>buy it on ebay
Not ebay, but you can say you hit pretty close to home.
Check the box again, IIRC the cloak is rather hard to see.
Then again if you bought it pre owned on some shady site maybe it isn't there.
I meant that if Takeru didn't really care for his comrades that much at all, and if he was mostly focusing on his objective. It's hinder the emotions of the story significantly.
I mean, Kotarou gives the girls the ideal world they hope for, and that's emphasized with the CG with them all standing together, but Kotarou never even had them in mind.
It didn't even come with a box.
It's a see-through plastic bag. If there was something else, I'm sure I would have seen it.
Shit man, how much did you pay it? The figure is also damaged from what I see, if you paid more than 2k yen you got scammed.
>It's a see-through plastic bag.
You bought this first hand in some back alleyway, didn't you?
No, it was relatively cheap.
Around 20 AUD. Only reason I got it. I'm not that much of a buyfag.
The quality is alright for my taste.
Well, you, um. Get what you pay for?
Well, it's not that much of a scam then. I still wouldn't have bought it for more than 1k yen.
>The quality is alright for my taste
There aren't any high quality rewrite figs anyway.
I want an anime.
I find it funny how most of the figurines I got for my friends are higher quality than my own.
>I want an anime.
It won't be very good. It's probably best that it never happens.
>There aren't any high quality rewrite figs anyway.
The one I got was among the best I saw.
There was an even cheaper one, of both Akane and Shizuru. But the quality was so horrendous that not even I would wanna touch it.
>J.C announces Rewrite anime
But muh figures.
I have to choose between a butchered adaptation or no figures, it's too hard.
>The one I got was among the best I saw.
It is the best, and it's not high quality.
The others are furyu / taito, they're low quality figures said "prize figures" but piss cheap.
Check the buyfag thread if you want to know more
Komomo best girl
I just want to tease her, hug her, rub her perfect thighs, and cuddle with her because she's so adorable.
AB remake or Rewrite anime i wonder which ones going to be first.
what makes you think there'll be one?
I would guess the entire novel would be finished before we see Rewrite getting adapted. Now a AB remake of the new novel? That's a lifetime away at this point. I'd suspect we're more likely to see that, though. I truly don't see anyone picking up Rewrite.
The original, half cour edition did amazingly well. Unless the VN is set up in such a way as to make a remake difficult, I'd be surprised if there isn't one at some point.
I do love rewrite, but I know full well japan doesn't like it anywhere near as much as the other key series.
AB already has a huge pre-installed fan base from just a half-cour series (still more popular than both Clannad and LB anime 27th best selling anime ever last i checked), seeing it re-adapted to the VN is pretty likely.
Just tried to open Rewrite and it wouldn't as I suspected. I'll have to redownload some newer VN's again after moving all my files over.
I moved PCs a few months ago broke all my typemoon VNs and rewrite. Can't actually play tsukihime anymore on this pc either which is a bit upsetting. 8.1 doesn;t seem to like typemoons engine.
That's odd as Tsukihime, KT and Fate all fired up fine. They were about the only ones. Some of the game VN's like Kamidori and Rance were a no go. Newer Key VN's wouldn't work. Finished Hoshi a few months back and Grisaia over the summer and neither of them will load. I guess I have the save data for all of these which is the important part, but I'll have to download them all again at some point. No reloading ero scenes for awhile.
>No reloading ero scenes for awhile.
That is upsetting. My problem seems to be the total opposite, excl Rance i still can't get that to run again either. Almost everything works except for TM and Rance. Atleast most Vns are pretty easy to get a hold of now with all those fuwanovel torrents
I wonder if my save data will work from LB if I just go ahead and download EX now? I will do so eventually when the patch gets released several years from now.
As i recall when I moved from LB to EX the saves weren't compatible as there was a slightly different version of Realive used. Though when you run EX it asks if you've unlocked the secret of the world and lets you skip to the other girls routes. Though the CGs from the first game stay locked so it required second play-through.
I had planned on playing the entire game over from scratch again when EX comes out. So my question was kind of moot to begin with. I had loaded the game yesterday to capture some footage, and I ended up playing parts of it instead of skipping it all. Took me hours to do in what should have taken minutes.
I always do the same, want to maybe play one scene like the deito in kud wafter and end up playing for 3+ hours. The games are just too much of a draw in sometimes heh.
I was playing the baseball mini game and got up to a 17 combo, which was my second highest ever. Frickin Masato out of the blue yells, IT'S A MUSCLE REVOLUTION and I missed the 18th hit. I could have killed him but I was laughing too hard to stay mad.
>laughing too hard to stay mad.
I've never made more than an 18 combo in all my play throughs.
Best I had was 21 one time. Big drop off to my second highest at 15 I think. Just realized I hadn't changed my locale to Japanese yet. That may be affecting some of these games not launching. Going to try that out.
I would like you to remember that in Kudwafter, whenever Riki and Kud do the dirty, a certain darkness overwhelms their hearts and minds.
Kud remembers how she was chained in a cave, standing in a pool of her own filth, getting ravaged again, and again, and again. And she fears she may never experience it again.
Riki remembers that Kud’s first time wasn’t with him, but with several large, dark-skinned men and women. And he wonders if she’s really enjoying it.
Hope that ends up working.
I'm in the midst of creating a 30 frame transparent gif off what we learnt yesterday, it sure is tedious but hopefully the end result will be worth it in this one. 5 frames in ;_;
Getting later and later aren't you. A lot of people are late lately.
Well, a few more starting working including LB. None of that matters though as Kamidori actually worked and all my data is gone. 4 or 5 playthroughs, all gone. This can't be happening. Someone kill me. Even Kud's innocent, happy face can't stop the tears from flowing.
Mahou Shoujo Kudryavka Magica.
Fucking fund it
The biggest combo i ever managed was 3... good job
I feel your pain i had three playthroughs of tsukihime, every route everything saved, all gone. That was one of my first VNs too it pains so much to lose that.
It's great isn't it! I'd been asking for that from the draw threads for almost 2 months was beyond estatic when an anon did it for me when i chanced into a waifu weekend one. She's supposed to be a Prisma girl from Prisma illya.
Unless I'm misunderstanding the internet, the save data for Kamidori gets stored in appdata instead of the game file. I may not see the next sunrise. Why is this happening Kud, why?
Oh i think it does yeah, it's a really uncommon place for VNs to use... this is a pretty terrible outcome.. no way to get back to your old data at all either?
Well, got Rewrite downloaded and running. Don't see anything resembling a save file. Google it. Random anon says he found it in his documents file. I'm going to lose it.
>it's a really uncommon place for VNs to use...
I thought so as well. At least I'll finally find out what Sudoku is like.
You need to make it to the EX translation, for sasami at the least.
Can you get a copy of a 100% save on kamidori perhaps?
Tried downloading Recuva, but no luck. I'm sure someone has uploaded a Rewrite save somewhere. That shouldn't be a big deal. With Kamidori though, that's all the items you've collected and your characters over multiple play throughs. I may just have to start over some day which is heart wrenching. You're right though. I promised Sasami I'd help her, so I can't disappear just yet. I need a Kud hug right now.
Nice first attempt on that Kud gif. Some touching up and it will be ready to go.
The save file for kamidori is in app data/local/eushully
Yeah. I tried to locate it, but it isn't showing up unfortunately. Was probably deleted when I installed Win 7. I didn't think anyone except large video games stored their save data outside the game folder.
Ah I'd completely forgot about the items, that would be a total down to start again. But you've got so many to look forward too at least to keep the future going. Doki seems to be around 2/3rd of the way now not much longer!
Yeah i used purple background to do that so I'd get it all, in retrospect i should have used a black one heh..
I believe doki is 57% right now.
Decided to stop messing with game files before I find out any other surprises. Here are some more gifs. Hopefully they look decent.
Ah technically yeah since saya is twice as long, but sasami is 100% and futaki is on proofreading now so i meant to say they have 2/3 of the routes basically done. No idea if they intend to release a part way patch or not.
This one got messed up for some reason. Will have to touch it up. The two Mio's look alright I think.
the book on looks fine. Mio walking seems a bit off but that might be because she walks a bit slower at that angle in game.
They're all looking cleaner than mine that's fore sure! Using the background eraser can get messy. The walkign might be a frame to fast but otherwise is good.
Kudo is looking great too but I'm biased to always say she looks great heh..
What needs changed about it do you think? Her speed?
Loaded up the episode and she did walk slower at the end during the preview. Maybe you guys will prefer this.
Looks great now imo.
There we go. Good stuff.
Ah yes I was looking for the Lucia thread
I thought Mio with a pep in her step was pretty kawaii, but deviating from the source material is probably a bad idea I guess. Right, JC Staff?
I think she looks pretty cute both ways.
At least we still got out easier than tsukihime and milky Holmes.
either way is fine. Personally id like to make the gifs but I dont really know how to make them. Do have the sprites though.
I've never done anythign from sprites before, can't be too hard i'm gonna try and give that parasol swish a shot.
These sprites explain whee my first one came from too. everyone seems to have their sprites here http://www.spriters-resource.com/pc_computer/littlebusters/ .
That swish was in the anime as well. The pain about the sprites would be that you'd have to separate them all out manually, and go from there.
Looks great, and you got it done very fast. What did you do exactly?
Seems to be the only place i can find them. Good place for finding sprites, didnt think theyd have the baseball ones.
Threw it in photoshop, wand selected it all the BG color off, took the column and split them up onto the 90x90 transparent space as layers. Used her shoes as a reference point as she doesn't move so it was easy to match them together. Then just set each layer as a frame on the time line and tweaked the time per frame until it felt the right speed.
Glad they did saves me the hastle of getting this RLdev to work on windows with my copy of EX since that's all that is installed.
This is where you beat me pretty good. I've never done most of what you described here. Not even sure how to do it. Will have to toy around with some of those sprites later as practice.
You mistyped Shizuru, and isn't that image swap bug a bother?
I used to do graphic design as a job but that was a year ago now really was always still photos never with gifs so this is pretty new to me still, first time working with sprites right now this is pretty fun. Jut threw two sprites together here this is pretty neat to do i'm goign to have fun messing around with all these LB sprites.
Same here. Not too savy with making anything graphic design related, but the sprites are good to have. In the process of making Mio, Kud, and Komari out of perler beads drinking tea together.
Heh, sounds neat. Trying to do what Wafu described a few posts above, but I'm failing miserably.
Im just not gonna touch it. It took me a while to figure out how to edit an already made gif fframe by frame, but got stuck on the same frame.
I always found that scene very cute to watch during the practice.
Sorry if there's anything I've not worded very clearly I'm not very good at describing what i do mechanically with words is there anything i can help with by elaborating on?
When im done ill frame it and post. Having trouble finding the basket they have though
It's not a problem on your end. I don't know what I'm doing, frankly. Taught myself how to make gifs but that was it. I don't know what 3/4 of the tools are used for in photoshop. I was stuck immediately on the second step you described.
>split them up onto the 90x90 transparent space as layers.
I still haven't figured out this part yet. I thought maybe that I could use the slicing tool at it makes it easy to split an rectangular object like this perfectly, but I don't see anyway of moving each specific slice into its own layer, assuming that's even possible.
Photoshop has always interested me, so I've wanted to learn more. I'm not very artistic, so it's probably a joke for me to do so.
found it, kind of a cluster close up. The sprites are gonna be pretty big.
Everyone has a first. Hell the first time using cs5 i was used to paint and was stuck on the magnetic lasso tool. Didnt know what the hell was happening.
>I don't know what 3/4 of the tools are used for in photoshop.
It's ok i still haven't touched most of them either haha.
>split them up onto the 90x90 transparent space as layers.
I meant i cut each sprite up and threw it on a new image with a transparent BG so it should look like this once it's all set up. 90x90 was the size i went with that gave the sprites room to move without cutting them off.
I look forward to seeing that finished.
Yeah i had a similar start in CS4, i've mostly just learnt via trial and error and a lot of google.
Its been a year or two since i actually have used it. Ive done nothing but crop or brighten images honestly. Only noteworthy thing I've done was for a Golden Time thread, and its iffy at best
Bah, I thought I had figured out an easy way to do it, but now each layer is locked and it won't let me do anything to it.
iirc the padlock above layers should unlock them
haha didn't even see fuko there at first that's good. it's just a lot of fun for e to mess around with it really.
Everything was greyed out for some reason. I figured out another method that only took 5 minutes not counting the hour I took actually figuring it out.
Guess ill play around with it for today. My plan is to have these three be what I make, not sure though. Will post as i finish each one though.
Ah good to hear, gif looks good.
I'll be looking forward to seeing them all.
That will be neat if you manage to put it all together.
Slightly modified version.
Is that Kud's side job?
That looks very fluid now nice job.
Yeah she'll be staring as a side character in the new magical girl assassin spin off from madoka.
Thanks, most likely id just print out the background as it would take even longer. Just need to get the right colors now.
I don't know what you're making, but I like it. Feel bad for Mami though.
insert HEAD jokes here
every time this thread gets posted it's a bunch of anime-only shitters with less than a handful of people who have read KEY VNs that haven't been animated
Very few people on here have played all of them including ONE. Im barely starting Rewrite.
>WATCHING Little Busters
>newfags aren't READING it like they should
Unbelievable. And they're so ignorant that they think it's /good/
Actually it's more VN readers, far less anime only users.
Just seeing the extent of what i can manage with sprites between games.
Planning to at least read ONE sometime in the next week so I can shitpost how great/terrible it.
Eh... I'm pretty sure 99% of people here don't recommend to watch the Little Busters anime. In fact, when someone comes in and says "Just finished the Little Busters anime" there are usually a metric fuckton of complaints, especially if they didn't like the anime. (Because it's shit on its own, and they should've read the VN before ruining the story's potential)
Yeah nothing but anime-only fags in here.
Inoue route when?
Go read an archive are you that new yourself.
I just completed LB a few days back. I'm letting everything settle for a while and the more I think back on it, the more I find that it was really a fantastic experience that I'm not sure I'll find replicated anywhere else. A big thank you to this thread for giving me the push to actually invest the time into playing through it. I sank ~75 hours into it, and by the end of Refrain I was quite sad to see it go.
One thing that's been bugging me, is there any backstory as to what happened to Rin as a child? Or was she just recalling what happened before the time loop when the police (I guess?) raided the house where she and Riki were living after they ran away?
For those who haven't played, don't scroll over those spoilers.
Go read and archive? What the fuck is that even supposed to mean? Why would I go browsing through archives for absolutely no reason at all?
You have some kind of mental deficiency to try and pull that one out of your ass.
It's pretty heavily implied she was just beaten around by adults to take out their anger, though some suspect it was rape there's not really a concrete story behind it.
>so new that he thinks shitposting is trolling for teh lulz epic win XD
I figured as much. I just wanted to make sure I didn't miss something.
Is the anime really as bad as everyone claims it is?
This isn't even including anything past episode 6, like the promise to become stronger being removed, Masato looking like a retarded zombie, Rin QUALITY tears, etc.
I've said it in the past it's not bad like tsukihime, it's bad because it misses a lot of the inbetween parts of the story, misses lots of fun moments, and it spoils the hell out of certain parts with "foreshadowing". It also does stuff like never explaining miyuki and removes all romance from the routes.
Well, planetarian is underrated, probably because it's short, most people don't remember it as well as the rest.
That sounds really bad. What the fuck were they thinking? I'll just stick with the VN experience so I don't wind up with a bad taste in my mouth.
Refrain is without a doubt one of the most emotionally engaging things I've ever seen, and it kept me guessing all the way up to the end. It tied together everything I'd been through thus far and even justified the parts of the game that sometimes felt tedious, which I didn't think was possible. I'd hate to see that ruined by JC Staff. Sucks that it didn't get a proper adaptation, but what can you do?
Streamlining plot points, hamfisting foresahdowing, revealing the Secret of the World during Kyousuke's arc before he even told it to Riki...
The time loops part isn't even remotely important in the anime. It's there, but it's brushed over along with Masato's delusions and Miyuki. Things that at least had some focus just sort of died in the anime to roll to the next plot point.
I mean, my mom has never watched anime, but I figured she might like LB despite JC Staff's shenanigans, and she figured out the LBs were all dead by episode 2 of the season, before Kurugaya's route was even over. She actually really liked the anime. Favorite girls were Kurugaya and Kud, favorite bro was Kengo;_;
Some scenes and episodes were good out of context, but lacked buildup. Kyousuke's farewell and Kengo vs. Riki/Rin in his arc were some of the highlights of the show.
I'd give it a 7/10 at best. This is assuming youve played it.
JC is ok when it comes to Sol, but in most scenarios with plot they like to read the source material and go "ok that was cool, BUT WHAT IF we did this instead?!?".
It's the case with almost everything sadly even the really "good" VN adaptations (clannad S;G) suffer from problems like clannad missing characters, S;G had huge pacing issues.
Im thankful for all the gifs and screen caps i've gotten out of the series, and it was nice to see some of it animated. But i'd never treat it as a recomendable series if you could play the VN.
Pretty much this for me too i could say it's an OK watch to someone who would never play the VN, but if you'd play the VN it's a far superior way to go.
Well, you've gotta take into account time constraints as well. There's no way any reasonably long VN could be faithfully adapted without making it 3+ cours.
I'm heading into Clannad next (most likely). I really enjoyed the anime, all of the characters were top notch, the music was fantastic, and the themes it dealt with hit close to home, but the entire time I was watching I just felt like I was missing out on a boatload of information by not playing the VN. I'm excited for that.
I haven't played S;G, but I found the anime to be very underwhelming.
I've generally seen that source material > anime adaptation in nearly every case, with very few exceptions.
Clannad threw out a couple of arcs that I didnt notice the first time around. Wouldve been hard throw in Kappeis route in there. Couldve been because they didnt want to throw TOO many medical related stories in there, only explanation I can think of.
They also ignored Koumuras story. Good animation though.
s;g was more that nobody does omnibus. It did every characters introudction first, then the middle of their routes, then the end true route. The anime is regarded generally as pretty good but almsot anyone whose played the VN would agree it was paced god awfully.
Clannad was probably the closest to a great adaption i've seen and it was still far far better in the VN.
About the only case of adaption > source is milky holmes for me, and that's becuase they took the source and threw it out the window and made it into a good comedy.
Despite Clannad cutting some stuff I still say it's a great adaptation. Afterstory was done so well that it works as a replacement for the VN.
I mean this scene in the VN and anime are fucking tearjerking.
>Posting the inferior Kagari
and my picture got ate.
Yeah, you have to take into considering time constraints, but that's not even the most of JC Staff's trouble.
They had no budget and shit directing throughout, the comedy and characterization falls, and the script is spread paper thin with base plot details because they can't afford to animate enough content each episode, giving you tons of slow-paced episodes that are budget starved. It's supposed to have an over-the-top comedy, and it just looks boring. There are so many slideshows and monologues that SCREAM 'budget saving" throughout the show, and there is so much time wasted each episode simply not doing anything, or doing things where one character will say something, and then the other characters slowly respond one by one to each other to drag out scenes to fill episodes.
It's really just badly handled in different aspects, because it seems like the scriptwriter was severely limited with how much content she could include. There are so many other bad decisions being made.
But yeah, the series doesn't even stand strong on its own unlike Steins;Gate. I really would've liked them to be able to focus more on each of the routes and make the show 36-ish episodes, though. At least there was some good talent and decent budget at White Fox.
No doubt. Confused a good amount of people who didnt play it because the whole "warp back in time" was based on the mechanic in the VN. Threw off some people, but it was still good.
Not too sure, but also believe they threw in a couple of tracks that werent in the game. I forget if the Warm Piano version of Nagisa was in game. One of the few dvds i bothered to buy.
This scene was extremely well done in the anime, with the addition of flashbacks and things like that.
On of the reasons it's a good adaptation since it's the most emotional scene in both VN and anime.
god damn that scene was such a tearjerk for me still gets me just thinking about it.
i believe there were a couple anime only tracks.
The anime added a lot of music
And all of the anime only music is great as it's still made by Jun Maeda.
Only slightly Key related because Jun Maeda did the music but what do you guys think of Owari no Hoshi no Love Song?
I hate that ending because it's so upbeat and happy, it really sucks to see a tearjerking scene and then as the it ends that shit plays and kills the mood.
Worked well with every scene really
You still mad about it being after the scene in AS episode 16? Same here. They fucked up so hard there
I'm mad about it being anywhere in AS, most of AS isn't happy go go like S1, they should have swapped dango and this shit if they HAD to use it.
Couldn't agree more. Torch had no place in AS. I skipped it every time.
Dango, on the other hand, is a god-tier ED.
Just imagine your reaction if dango was the ED of this >>100053458 episode, it would have amplified the tears instead of drying them.
If they swapped Torch and Dango it would of been perfectly fine.
On another note the other thing that pissed me off was cutting Nagisa and Tomoya's first kiss.
It's a pretty great piece, maeda and orito are two of my favorite composers for the tracks they create.
Pretty much all of this.
I like it.
Man, thinking back to when I first read Clannad when Nagisa died I actually was doubting it. I kept thinking "No she can't be dead, Nagisa can't die" and as I kept reading it slowly came to me that it was reality. Seriously no other work of fiction has done that shit to me.
kudo a ushio makes my kokoro dokidoki
Refrain is the only one to have beaten it for me.
>You'll never get to experience those first play throughs again.
I honestly can't decide which I liked better, After Story or Refrain. After Story has so many powerful scenes but Refrain is just a roller coaster of emotion.
I'm probably more than biased on this. My waifu is in LB and my 3rd favorite character ever is Rin. but refrain beat it for me, if only slightly.
Nothing has really come close to those two though.
Id figure you of all people would have more of her as Ushio
Id say Little Busters! as a lot of tings hit close to home. Theyre both great though
Unfortunately she's paired with fuko more than any one. That is about the only one I've seen off her dressed as ushio, though I've got this which is also amazing.
Oh god someone clean that gif
Cant find anything immediately, the search is on. Mio as Kotomi seems to be just as fruitless.
wahh don't cry komari kud won't really beat you.
Yeah there's an unfortunate lack of anything easy to find of the girls cross-costuming.
That OVA was great, but you're right about the cross costume thing.
>wahh don't cry komari kud won't really beat you.
She scared everyone in that scene.
my only real disappointment was that they didn't do kick the can. But still i was glad to see so much animated in that OVA.
It brings me the biggest smile every time i play through to watch her try and act tough like that.
These lone pixels that escape me the first time really piss me off.
I laughed, hard. That was a great scene. What sucks is that those scenes near the ball field forced you to skip a practice session, I think.
Preferring Midori is preferring sluts and rapists.
A little late, aren't we?
A little late is an understatement. This threads been going on for a while though.
I've gotten it by skipping a second practice session on the day but i'm not sure if that's set in stone.
I probably made up for sleeping the whole week just now.
I skipped the outfield during the first play through. I missed out on so much.
This may seem obvious in retrospect, but doing those extra scenes on the first play though makes the most sense considering Kengo is unavailable. That just now hit me.
I love that pic, so all is forgiven.
It was odd not seeing him through the first play through. It made sense later on and made me wonder why he was in the graveyard in the first place. How he copes with it ill never fully understand.
god dammit it still makes me sad
I really liked that about the replays, how things that seem strange all just start to make sense, took me way to long to realize why "Masato and I were put together, almost as if they knew we were childhood friends." .
Am I playing to Key magic too much when I wish they could have created a world that enabled them to save Kud's mom or Miyuki?
I spent the entire of waffles wishing the same thing, why can't everything just be key magic ;_;
Shit I didn't pick up on that at all.
Why was he at the graveyard?
My thought was that if you are going to allow the worlds to enable time travel shenanigans, why not take it to the logical conclusion?
Playing it a second time through made a lot of things strange. Ive found a good amount of remixes based on Kengo and how he acts alone. Did enjoy how he was the reason you could or couldnt do any specific event though.
Probably because if it goes too far back they lose what gives them the will to come to the dream world, you have to have suffered greatly to make it there Does that mean reading these VNs gets me in?
Yeah one thing I really love about LB is how well it handles replays in relation to the story. Kotomi best clannad
I should have realized that. ;_;
You forgot about common route additions as well as extensions to existing routes. They still have a fair chunk to go.
Ah well better get to learning japanese you guys.
Preferring Mio is preferring sluts and rapists.
2 for 2. Best Kanon?
>Ruining LB for everyone.
>Probably because if it goes too far back
What do you mean here?
Close tie between Mai and makoto
If miyuki lives kengo probably never suffers enough to go to the dream world, and his resolve post her death is a petty big part of his actions at least that's my assumption to it.
God dammit I thought these two went together for a second.
I don't think that has anything to do with there ability to enter the dream world though, does it? That was a spontaneous decision by all of them to try and save Riki and Rin, unless something about the worlds is further explained in EX.
Ha. They keep getting better.
And Kud catches the rebound, well done!
No nothing really just what I always went with, they wouldn't be the same people without the pasts they had they probably wouldn't really be strong enough to call forth that wish which mostly comes from the other key series take on magic.
Did my best!
I know the Little Busters anime is over, but I still want to talk about it just a bit. Did anyone else feel disappointed in the "climax" scene? The VN made it somewhat exciting with that danger music, and the bus catching on fire midway upping the urgency. The anime, however, doesn't use that music at all and the bus never catches fire until the very last few seconds, right before the scene ends. It was kind of underwhelming in comparison.
Also, when are the EX episodes set to air? I'm just going to give up on the VN EX routes ever being translated.
EX will be an extra on the Refrain BDs.
It was incredibly underwhelming, the aftermath too. Probably one of my bigger disappointments.
EX will come out with each refraid BD so first episodes are 25th of jan, last was some time in july.
gotta post best Grisaia before that Mitcher guy gets here
getting so many late posts today for best girls.. oh this thread is up a lot longer than usual actually tonight.
No bad end hospital scene was really the final straw which put the anime out of its own misery. The following continued and dragged out bus scene continued to dig itself deeper and deeper.
Best girl, best voice, best route.
Ooh, that's a long time. Well, maybe, just maybe the EX version of the VN would be complete by July. Maybe.
And yeah at the aftermath. They missed Riki's narration of how each heroine is doing in the epilogue (like the sisters getting along, or Karugaya hinting that she remembers her route), and Kyousuke's return didn't feel quite as impactful.
Refrain Anime was decent, I think. But if I were to watch the anime adaptation again, I would probably prefer to watch the first season. It at least adapts the common route scenes very nicely. (That, and I prefer watching more light-hearted things, watching depressing things for too long would just get me depressed.)
>maybe the EX version of the VN would be complete by July. Maybe.
I think the best part of refrain was the first episode, all that animation budget on kurugayas kick.
My biggest downside of the first season is things like butchering kudos ritual into a joke from what it is meant to be but i really just view the whole thing as nice to see some bits animated and that's it.
And now I just realized I didn't use spoiler tags at all. And I usually complain about other people not using them, too. I must be losing it. My bad, everyone.
>Well, maybe, just maybe the EX version of the VN would be complete by July. Maybe.
I want to believe
Even the bad adaptation of refrain was more interesting than the decent adaptation of the common route.
Delete your posts and resubmit with spoiler tags. It's the right thing to do.
Also I'm playing Clannad now and I'm finding it exceedingly difficult not to just go with Nagisa. I figure it would be best to go for her route + AS last, right?
It says I can't delete them.
You can only delete posts so soon after you make them too late now.
Love you Shizuru
Would you eat her sweets?
Of course. I cried during her route.
>Making her EX h-scene bad end only
Screw you KEY. Why can't we tender-love her in the good end route, too?
I wanna suck Riki's fingers
Is anyone still here?
dont think so. Let this one 404 and come back in about 6 hours.
>"I'll come back, if you want me to TK.
>He doest, he only wishes to have his old friend Patamon back.
>This happens, only it is a different Patamon instead of the one that digivolved into Angemon.
>Meanwhile Angemon lingers in limbo wondering why TK never wished him back.
>After X amount of years he dwells on this and finds a school in the afterlife.
>Changed his appearance to appear more humanlike.
>Continues to refuse to show his eyes.
>Finds friends who wish to rebel against the God.
>His real reason for doing so is to figure out why TK never wished him back.
>Takes the alias TK to remember why he is fighting.
>TK from Angel Beats! is Angemon.
okay I'll try to stay up for it maybe tonight.
Thats not best Key key.
I'm still here.
