What is a series you can never get tired of rewatching?
What you posted
KMB. I just like listening to the sound of Yasuna's voice.
Honestly i don't think there is a series that i have managed to rewatch in it's entirety more than twice
Four times and I still love it.
It's probably the only series I've fully rewatched.
You posted it.
I've watched Code Geass 3 times now.
One piece. I rewatch it up to Water 7 at least once a year.
4 get on my level!
but one was in English so it dosen't count
I can barely will myself to finish shows once, even when I am really enjoying them.
I have read and reread the Azumanga Daioh and Death Note manga, though. I never get tired of either.
I think I've watched it like seven times or so.
Wow, it was good but I don't know if I could ever watch a 50 episode series seven times. What could you possibly have missed the first six times?
>I can barely will myself to finish shows once, even when I am really enjoying them.
Do you even like anime?
A couple of the times I just had it running in the background while I was doing other things.
SZS. Fourth season please.
Not that anon, but I've watched the series a good number of times as well.
The characters and music really do it for me.
Yes, but I have a thing called depression which makes it hard to motivate yourself to finish anything, at all, fucking ever
Not him, but I don't really think it is about finding things you missed. I rewatch series just because it is fun. Even if I know what is coming going through the ride again is still fun to me, each time.
Same. I watch it every few months.
holy fuck I laughed way hard then I should have.
these and E7 and TTGL
Innumerable amount of times.
I could barely sit through the beginning of S2, to be honest.
I don't know. S1 was great but S2 is just too much. The Commander Perry episode was where I gave up.
Brown girl's just goin' for it.
What you posted, and TTGL. But #1 is CG.
I think I've watched it about four times now.
Has to be CG and TTGL
>Haruhi + Endless 8
Not including movies, I dont think ive ever rewatched anything else.
What the fuck...
That will be me.
And plus that entire show was fucking amazing.
So many feels
Whats wrong with Guilty Crown?
Besides the small amount of time they give you to digest all the shit it feeds you?
It wasn't a bad show
Oh fuck how did i >>100024412
Forget about these
It was almost as as CG to me. Plus the soundtrack is amazing.
I could re-watch this forever
>How could I abandon a friend?
>It was almost as as CG to me
Fuck I am tired
It slipped my mind, but I know all you fuckers including me rewatched this at least a half dozen times.
i miss drinking so much. stupid liver
Ah, I also watch some episodes Gintama when I need a laugh
Sora no Woto 15 times
>watching Guilty Crown a second time
Why rewatch shows when you can be working on your backlog?
I could barely finish it the first time
I felt like I had all the dessert before I even got to taste the appetizers.
Sometimes you just feel like watching something familiar or something you just know will be enjoyable.
You get nostalgic and want to watch it again.
I think it happens more the more deeply you care about anime.
I watched the whole series between every episode 10. I have no idea how many times I've rewatched it.
....5 times....not proud....
Have you become a Gundam?
Because fuck you thats why.
>On a side-note I'm currently on Fate/Zero.
>Shit's so cash.
What the fuck is wrong with you?
I've watched it about four times now.
Every valentines day I watch this series.
Best love story ever told.
That's the best reasoning I have ever heard.
What about stay night?
E7 and E7AO numerous times.
I don't understand why everybody hates AO. I really liked it.
I don't understand why everybody hates AO. I really liked it.
Replace AO with Guilty Crown and you have my current thoughts...
>The School of the Undefeated of the East!
>Everyone rewatches "Deathnote Mech Version" and other shounenshit
Well, it's still a little early on the day for decent people to be on /a/.
>not wanting to listen to FukuJun and JIBUN WOOOO in the background of whatever you're doing constantly
>What about stay night?
I think we're all waiting for the new adaptation Anon-kun
I remember watching it with /a/ a couple of years ago Holy shit time flies
And it was the most fun Ive had watching anime with you guys since Geass. For some reason i find it enjoyable. Ill probs rewatch it sometime within the next couple of months.
Lucky Star. Seriously, never gets old.
This and Kaiba
You are literally retarded.
I've seen it twice but it's kind of a new show. Plus it's slow and there's not much new to see. The native 955p BDs were gorgeous though.
Let the guy enjoy his anime, even if no one else understands why.
I've played it twice....
Dont know if that counts.
I always seem to find something extra each time I watch.
I don't know that I never tire of it, but this is what I use to wash the bad taste out of my mouth every time /a/ tricks me into watching the latest four moe girls slice of life.
Man, I got stuff to do! I can't keep giving this girl hour after hour of my life because she's curious about everything
Unless she's curious about my dick
I rewatch it every time I need a full nights sleep.
The ending for that series as a whole could not have been more perfect.
This, it's just so easy and good at the same time.
I've never rewatched a season from start to finish but I do sometimes rewatch segments. I don't really rewatch anime, though.
I don't believe there is anyone who legitimately enjoys Hyouka.
Whenever I'm depressed.
I just get so much put of it.
And your a fucking idiot.
Because I actually want to have fun watching the good titles from my selection of chinese cartoons rather than building up a list that I will use for the sole purpose of stroking my epeen with /a/ faggot.
Episode 8 is one that I always seem to watch when i'm craving something more.
The song just speaks to me.
B-but it's so shitty. The protag is awful, the heroine is a retard and the cast is just disgusting. What the fuck is likable about that show.
It's easily KyoAni's best.
On topic, Hyouka and Tatami Galaxy are the only anime from this decade that I've rewatched.
I've rewatched the first 26 eps 3 times. It's a guilty pleasure and I can't hate this franchise no matter how long it drags on.
TTGL is the perfect anime in my mind.
>Protag actually develops.
>Heroine is a semi-"Rei Ayanami" so you can take that as you want.
>Plot was rather interesting even though the 2nd half of the season was too chatoic but maybe thats what the creators wanted?
>And their openings.... So good.
Soundtrack got an A for me.
Kino, Sora no Woto, Horizon, Canaan, Darker than Black, and even Guilty Crown on occasion. Really fun anime, and great memories with /a/.
I understand you anon.
I cant tell you how many times I re-watched this all through HS, and Uni.
Stay Night is infinitely better than Zero.
The VN, I mean.
Never gets boring, I have an anniversary when I watch the entire series again every year. LN/manga too.
This too, the tournament arc too good.
However I will admit the show is very depressing oftentimes...
Don't watch it to cheer up.
You say that like Stay Night has an adaptation or something. I'm glad ufotable is finally going to let it see the light of animation.
>Protag goes full Jesus at the end for no reason
I couldnt get past five episodes.
>OH NO EVIL EMPIRE
>WOW WUR ALL IN THE SAME CLASS
>Cat running with helmet
>one guy who returns to trial after being rescued
>Their shoot civilians! AHHHHHH!
The show tries to be serious but fails comically. all the characters are emotionally flat.
Jesus would have been able to cure his own blindness
my fucking niggas
>I couldnt get past five episodes
I've seen 300+ shows and it's in my top 5.
>Soundtrack got an A for me.
>Protag goes full Jesus at the end for no reason
You realize he felt like a dick for going full Hitler? so he kinda wanted to repent for that shit.
all the villains were retarded and comical.
Might as well has them wear monocles as they sinisterly stroking ther mustaches
Hyouka is boring and empty. There's no interesting subtext or meaning, and the plot is boring. The only reason to watch it is for the cute girls and the manzai humor. Dime-a-dozen trash.
>easily KyoAni's best
Reaching for the low hanging fruit, aren't we?
If you watch anime for subtext and meaning you're probably not doing it right.
You have bad taste.
It's the most well made school club based anime in existence.
You are also wrong.
What club? Saying it's about a club is like saying Milky Holmes is about detective work. You could have transplanted the characters into a million different settings and it would have been the same. They could have bee college students. Or kids on summer break. Or young office workers. They're not even in a real club.
Did you miss the entire first arc or something?
>Possible in any perspective other than a high school club
Watched all 220 episodes 3 times.
SO GUD OMG
Disapearance is the only thing that even comes close, and it's by the same director so no wonder.
Based fucking Geass. Gonna have to watch it again.
I found Endless Eight more entertaining than Hyouka. I'm not saying it's bad but I've found a lot of KyoAni's work to be better overall then Hyouka. It's pretty and has a good amount of detail in the background, but the rest just isn't interesting.
Unless you like moe, Clannad and Haruhi are the only things that really compete. Personally, I like Haruhi best, but Hyouka is a close second (and Clannad AS is an extremely distant third).
>unless you like moe [Hyouka is the best]
You have no attention span and like Haruhi way too much then.
Or maybe the show just felt like it had no point and was pretty forgetful if not for the animation.
>like it had no point and was pretty forgetful
And that is why you have no attention span
Hyouka isn't entertaining.
There's no story.
There's no actual attempt at humor.
There's no symbolism.
There's no sexuality.
There's nothing there to actually engage the audience. Nothing happens and you hate all the characters, because they're one-dimensional cliches.
Sure, I can watch all of Endless Eight, a season we still have people making threads about today, without a problem and I have no attention span. Yep that's defiantly it.
Not series, but I never get tired of rewatching REDLINE. I get those chills and thrills every time.
My companion of african descent
That's why I said you like Haruhi way too much.
Also watching the same thing 8 times says nothing about your attention span.
Who the fuck cares what the best KyoAni series is? That's like being awarded "best youth model" at a NAMBLA convention.
Hokuto no Ken, so the anime is rather terrible in the animations department aside of some important fights but I can read the manga all the time.
Most rewatched is probably pic related.
Then Ika Musume, Azumanga Daioh, and scattered Gintama episodes.
It's very economic with details and thorough in ensuring that the mysteries connect everything. Basically, it's decent detective fair with great production values (good sound track, stellar animation). It's as popular as it is largely because faggots self insert as Hotaro, but it is reasonably entertaining.
>Bethesda voice acting.gif
>like Haruhi way too much
But that's impossible. You can never like Haruhi too much.
Or maybe it's because the one repeated episode of the Endless Eight had more plot and entertainment value than Hyouka's entire series.
Yuru Yuri is my favorite when it comes to rewatching. It never ceases to amuse me. Nichijou , Nichibros and Toradora! are other anime that i tend to rewatch very often.
Rewatching it for the third time
It's true, pic related
Akari's hair is salmon not pink
THIS NEVER GETS OLD
I've watched it 3 times. One by myself, and 2 times dubbed with my Mom and Uncle because they like entry level anime. At first I hated the Dub, but then I really started liking it. Still very good after watching it 3 times
Gunbuster and Diebuster.
YYH Dark Tourney
This mostly, I've seen it a good 5 times or so by now
Toradora, F/Z, Daily Lives of High School boys, Haruhi and Index also make the list, but the thing I've seen the most of is Carnival Phantasm, I'd watch that thing every fucking day if I could
Save them for the judgment day.
It's been nearly 2 years, I've probably watched this scene 50 times
Black Lagoon and YYH
I've rewatched cromatie high, and symphogear s1. FLCL multiple times but those don't actually count.
Monogatari, I always feel like I miss something.
>people actually liked code gayass
Shit taste, all of you.
No wonder /a/'s going downhill.
Made it to the annual stream for the past three years and have never been disappointed.
Both CG, and pic related.
Higurashi is a crock of shit and you know it.
This, god dammit. So good. Shame Z had to ruin it all
>The winds of the king!
I don't rewatch anything. Why, when I can simply remember it?
Only the insecure, delusional and weak of mind rewatch things.
(This does not apply if you're rewatching something just to check its quality without nostalgia googles though, let's be rational).
And I love every second of it.
I've rewatched Madoka fourteen times since it came out. Marathoned it every time too
Fair criticisms can be levelled at CG, sure, but you can no tell me that the show is not highly entertaining.
You cannot remember everything.
Code Geass and Last Exile are probably the only two I've rewatched.
My relatives of african heritage.
Episode 1 is probably the most rewatchable episode anime has to offer.
>People who can't remember every detail from every show ever are idiots. As are people who repeatedly enjoy the same thing.
>I can't remember if a show was good, but that is not the same.
The story was all kinds of retarded, but you can't say it wasn't entertaining.
2 times (plenty)
Hikaru no Go
This and Girls Und Panzer
I never rewatch a show because I already know what will happen and it gets boring. I might rewatch a scene from time to time but never a full episode or a full series at once.
Hyouka fan here saying hi.
Select episodes of Nise as well.
Also how was the ending to Hikaru no Go? I dropped the manga because I heard it was cancelled so the ending was really really bad.
Three times, if you count when I watched it as kid.
> True Tears
I know I'm a fag, but I cannot stop enjoying that show, so much drama and suffering and all of them good girls
> Hikaru no Go
Yes, was rushed kind of. I know if not that a great sports anime as how Chiahayafuru/Ippo, but I love go
People bitch and moan about HnG's end, but it was thematically good. The only bad part is that the show felt like it wanted to come to a head, but dicked around for 8 or 9 episodes on side characters nobody really cared about.

Madoka is the only anime worth rewatching.
Remember to ignore obvious troll posts anons.
The Utena movie, Redline and the AKB finale. I don't rewatch much stuff but these are my go-to pick ups.
only anime i ever re-watched
Even though i like something i usually don't rewatch it.
If i had to watch one of them again i would probably pick berserk.
i watched the first season all before r2 came out then was watching r2 live basically, dont even remember how many years ago it was. but I have probably atleast watched the whole series around 10+times or something also..
gits was another thing i have watched about 8+times. so fucking good
Berserk and Code Geass are the only ones I've watched about 5 times
Every time I'm home sick I rewatch Geass, never gets old.
How do you rewatch a 700+ ep series?
4 times, 2 of these were without E8
>Kuroko no Basuke
3 times, will rewatch again once S2 finishes airing
This and Death Note
Forgot to add Wing Gundam and G Gundam
Bake and Eva. Probably 5+ times for each.
Not one of you has a right to insult my taste in anime ever again.
5Ds was godly, but Zexal is my favorite.
Such a shame everyone is dying.
It's like they are just trying as hard as they can to be edgy and not seem like a kids show.
