My cgcookie subscription ends in six days. Are there any tutorials you'd like me to download and share with you?
>>711326Is there a guitar modeling tutorial?Maybe an anime girl with cute tummy tutorial?
I don't know much about what CGCookie has to offer, but please share what you feel are really good tutorials.
>>711326do you have something anime related anon? Would be nice if its related in making gamedev models too.
>>711383>anime girl with cute tummy tutorialWANT
>>711384Well here's a list of their tutorials:https://cgcookie.com/categories/3d/tutorials?page=1And here are their courses:https://cgcookie.com/categories/3d/coursesI grabbed most of their 2.8 stuff and some 2.79 stuff that I thought looked solid.
This latest FPS animation tutorial seems awesome, especially since I didn't find many tuts on this subject at all.
>>711326You should totally get as many as you can and upload to cgpeers
>>711411This
>>711424I agree too, same
>>711326Yo, I came here looking for how to modify Pokemon character models for a thing I'm doing, and the first thing I see is this. (I'm using 7th gen characters/models not 8th but close enough.) I say this is fate. Any tips or tutorials you have for something lime that?
>>711411I second this, just mass download as much as possible and dump it on CGPeers
>>711326If you can get this for me I'd be grateful https://cgcookie.com/exercise/compositing-a-coffee-scene
>>711383>>711390The only anime styled tutorial I've seen there is this one, and it's free.https://cgcookie.com/tutorial/modeling-stylized-hair
>>711511 One quadrizilion polys, and "i have a nose, please love me murricans" style
>>711511western shit
>>711399Went ahead and downloaded it. Came out to 17 GB. That's 18 videos at 1080p with each one ranging from 400 MB to 2 GB. To their credit the video is crystal clear enough that the interface can be made out in all frames. Will have to make a torrent or possibly split it between file hosting accounts.>>711411>>711424>>711425>>711431That's a good idea. Just have to wait until the 1st of December before an account can be made. But is there any advantage to using cgpeers over other torrent sites? Since it's locked down I don't imagine torrents there get as many peers and seeds as they would on public trackers.>>711411There's supposed to be a cap on 53 downloads per month on cgcookie but I've been able to download bout 80 of them so I'm not sure what is going on with their server. I'm going to at least grab all of the 2.8 stuff before then.>>711426There's a thread in /vp/ about it. >>>/vp/41372061Generally you want to decide on a game first and then look up ways to extract its files.A lot of the models for 7th gen have already been extracted and uploaded to models resource.https://www.models-resource.com/3ds/pokemonsunmoon/https://www.models-resource.com/3ds/pokemonultrasunultramoon/There's a thread about ways to extract them here:https://www.vg-resource.com/thread-25872.htmlYou can use the info there for anything that isn't already available. From there you just decide what you'd like to do with them. Posing them isn't super hard and if you're feeling daring you could try making an animation.>>711507Uploaded the Coffee Compositing tutorial for you here:https://drive.google.com/open?id=1qpUnPMrTQ7UuaijafZFdyFo58lt9e6SiSince the lesson is short and the video creator wasn't retarded about encoding I was able to pack it all into a 545 MB file. It contains all of the chapters that have videos(chapter 4 is just an inbrowser quiz) and the source files needed to complete the project.
>>711525>>>>/vp/41372061epic, thanks
>>711511This looks kinda creepy... Also no cute 3d tummy
>>711525Thanks a lot, anon! God bless you
>>711514just so you know the lack of nose in anime is based on production costs and the fact that adding a nose adds nothing to the emotion of a character this was first done by disney in the 50s theres no reason 3d should not have a nose as you dont work frame by frame like you do in 2d
>>711889No, you fucking retard. Its based on stylistic choices that have evolved for the past 60 years.
I did a few months of CGCookie back in late 2018. How much stuff did they refresh for 2.8 and 2.81? I remember a large portion of their library wasn't 2.79, but rather earlier versions of the 2.7X series.
>>711411Do I have to register to download anything from cgpeers?
>>711326The blender hair modelling tutorials, please.
>>711326Anything about animating in blender would be appreciated.
