Im new to texturing and substance painter,
in this article the artist used substance painter SoMuchDiffuse paid plugin to get information baked, http://www.somuchmonsters.com/somuchdiffuse
afaik this is not really a plugin but a smart material, somehow utilizing painters nodes.
any idea how this material could be recreated in some simple form? 25dollars for a material is pretty steep for me right now and I dont need all functionality it has anyways

Nothing was created in that video or am I missing something? Seems like he's just adding colors to already existing textures.

there was no color information in the beginning, only normal, position, ao, cavity etc. maps baked from high poly sculpt
the nice thing about that material is it bakes lighting and such, so textures looks good in unlit mode,
I red alegorihmic forums and people wanted such feature for some time to be build in program, some even were making print screen of 2d uv window, but its obviously not great for seams accuracy

Thankyou so much for posting about this. It seems super useful. Defintly worth the money if you have it. Along with the SoMuchZbrush plugin he has which would be amazing for pumping out game meshes if you're short on retop and bake time.
