Hi I am an artist trying to learn some anatomy stuff. I think it'd beneficial for me to make my own 3D model to help me visualise it 3D like and help me learn it. Is 3D modeling too hard to get into to just for this? Will it take hours and hours of practice, or can I more or less just practice for a bit and then get on with it within like an hour or two?
>i'm dumb and lazy>pls hulp
>>690493if you want to make good looking models of people, it will take thousands of hours of practice
>>690495This is inaccurate. >>690496hmmmmm
>>690493>I am an artist trying to learn some anatomy stuffThat's easy, just draw for hours and hours until you got your anatomy fundamentals right. Then, you learn to model, or sculpt, and you'll churn out passable humans with ease.
>>690493Hours and hours, I did what you're thinking of already, and it's fun.
>>690493>or can I more or less just practice for a bit and then get on with it within like an hour or twoget a load of this goy
>>690499Does that mean most of this board are just artists?
>>690660>Does that mean most of this board are just autists?Yes.
>>690493There’s anatomy posing apps on smart phones. Tracing won’t improve your drawing skills. It’s only really useful for animation and cutting corners to get a concept art job done faster.
>>690770I wouldn't use it for tracing and I know Ecorche models exist. I just think it'd help me mentally map out the anatomy if I made one myself.
