what VR apps do you use for making 3D art? Quill for Oculus is pretty based

>buy HTC Vive
>fire up Elite
>can't read HUD, it's a blurry mess
>FOV like looking through a toilet paper roll
>no real world peripheral vision, have to find mouse by feel after typing anything
>headset is heavy and hot after 15 mins of use
<"VR is a paradigm shift, it's the future of computing!"

It's trash.

VR for 3D art is currently a complete meme. There's like 0.1% of things it does better than mouse + flat screen.

>Probably didn't adjust headset to resolve blurring
You played yourself.

On a real note, I think if blender or zbrush had a plug-in to allow sculpting in VR it would be incredible, I just don't know if the tech is there yet. I know those programs take a lot of shortcuts and optimizing to get their poly counts high enough, but adding in over twice the resolution and constant head movement would need big brain programming and a Uber expensive rig.
