Guys I did a funny with blender and posted it to Twitter
I love it
>>688393Bottoms up, homie.*clink*
>>688393can you make a tutorial please
>>688393lmao gamer girl water with noise
>>688393Why do blendlets think this is acceptable? Do you even understand the renderer of your beloved tool? Why do I always see noisy shit whenever a blender thread pops up?
>>688433Forgive them blendlets Anon, for they don't know what they are doing.
>>688393Oh god, can you please post the graphic for the label? I would love to play with this too!Are these models to exact dimensions?
> noiseBecause I wanted it to be more of an shitpost with noise and 128 samples
>>688434This guy's face infuriates me. It's those fucked up eyes.I don't know why Blender tutorial people insist that we need to see their fucking face to get information. Nobody is there to see them.
>>688473Is this the smartest woman alive.
>>688393Share the texture, faggot.
>>688479Literally everything she does is organized by her 4chan "agent"
>>688434>Sorry, this page doesn't existWhat happened and how do I get it now?
>>688393>>688433wait is this a render for real?it look passable as a twitter bait
>>689054Wait till you learn that Delphine is actually a last-gen photorealistic 3D model.
>>688478>tfw you didn't contract her herpes
>>688393i think 9 containers is excessive. i think three containers would be better and a messy room in the background would really be good.
Gotta get that gamer girl bath water in your system, am I right?
>>688393enjoy your herpes
>that noise and firefliesI'm convinced that people who post this shit are falseflaggers
>>688413>>688433>>690009I just started learning Blender this week and my renders are super noisy too.How do I make them noise-free? Do I just check the denoiser box and set it to a high number of samples? Is it just a matter of having a powerful computer and/or leaing it render for longer, or there's something that would make me bypass the problem entirely?Do other expensive programs have this noise problem too?
>>690041>Do other expensive programs have this noise problem too?lol, nope. You get what you pay for. Hail Autodesk!
>>690047So it's only Blender and Houdini?https://youtu.be/MIcUW9QFMLE?t=308Or you mean that other programs have noise but have good ways to reduce it?
lol i did the same thing and put it up on cgtraderguess im not very original
>>690050Noise is unavoidable when working with raytracer or path-tracers, all those renderers have this problem. It can only be solved by more rendertime, or use of better algorithms. Denoising works best when used for removing the last percent of noise, it needs something to work with.
>>691046>or use of better algorithmsDoes Blender have a bad algorithm or it's just used by a lot of beginners who don't know how to reduce it?Does Eevee also suffer from this or it works differently?
>>691051>lot of beginners who don't know how to reduce it?yes>Does Eevee also suffer from this or it works differently?Eevee is different, but there are some effects which can have noise too.
>>691060>but there are some effects which can have noise tooWhat do you mean?Like materials and things like that that can give you noise even with Eevee?
>>691061The only noise you'll get with Eevee is that of your soul dying in agony.
>>691061Ambient occlusion and Screen Space Reflection, these i know for sure can be noisy.
ok I re-rendered the image for the hell of it
>>688542ok here you go faggot
>>690041Its just one little click of a box
>>691087Still no guru tutorial..
>>688393>wanted to make a fake video where I pour acid into hair products and food at a walmart>too lazy to create the models, materials, and the motion trackingSome day I will make it into the news with my 3d shitposting.
How do I do this but on a curve (svg)? I never used blender I just want to do this once.https://blender.stackexchange.com/questions/65633/how-can-i-create-twisted-geometry
>>691186use ctrl+t to tilt the points?
>>691065Lmao why?>>691077I see, thank you.>>691091Is this the same thing that other programs and/or rendering engines use?
>>691200>Is this the same thing that other programs and/or rendering engines use? When they render, yeahMost programs have ways to get rid of noise with ease, but by default blender doesn't do it, which is bad for first time users
>>691228I have a shitty machine that can't run 2.8 for some reason (it works perfectly until I touch the materials tab, at which point it just crashes), and modelling on Cycles is frustrating because I have to wait so long before seeing the results of anything I'm doing. Are there other real time programs that can render in real time like Eevee, or do they all work like Cycles?
>>691229You do not model while cycles is running. WTF man?Just use the normal viewport and when you are done modelling, unwrapping, texturing, then you use and setup the renderer. You only need to touch the final renderer when you start working with materials and light. Also why the fuck don't you start from the beginning and learn some basics. You seem to be way to deep into things you have no clue about. Go and watch 10 hours of Blender for Noobs tutorials before asking people to feed you basic stuff and hold your hand. You don't even know the basic concepts, ffs.
>>691229There is a material view or even texture view. And my friend had an old FX cpu and blender doesn't like that too much.Getting something new(er) would help a lot, gpu side of things eh.also more than 4gb of ram
>>691089Even though I made it, It bothers me the texture isn't divisible by 2. It was supposed to be 256 x 256 but I guess I exported it wrong or something
>>691237>You do not model while cycles is running. WTF man?>Just use the normal viewport and when you are done modelling, unwrapping, texturing, then you use and setup the renderer. You only need to touch the final renderer when you start working with materials and light. That's exactly what I do.It all works fine until I start working on things that require Cycles, at which point it becomes a chore and makes me want to drop 3D modelling altogether. And since what I plan on using Blender for (backgrounds for graphic design and possibly simple videos) uses very simple models and is all based on textures and materials, I can't really get away with this workflow.>Also why the fuck don't you start from the beginning and learn some basics. You seem to be way to deep into things you have no clue about. Go and watch 10 hours of Blender for Noobs tutorials before asking people to feed you basic stuff and hold your hand.I'm currently going through the donut tutorial (pic related) and I've watched a few videos on how to improve the performance, but it's still extremely frustrating, so I'm looking for options that I might've missed, before I drop 3D modelling completely.>>691242Yeah, as soon as I can afford it I'm getting a better computer, but that day might be quite far so I have to work with what I have for now.
>>691245>makes me want to drop 3D modelling altogether.>before I drop 3D modelling completely. If you think this basic stuff is extremely frustrating, then maybe you should quit, it doesn't get easier and if on top of it you hardware is extremely bad then it makes no sense. You need some serious horsepower to render stuff, be it a GPU or CPU.
>>691245How long did that take you? Most sane people render small previews or regions then use renderfarms for their final.
>>691255>If you think this basic stuff is extremely frustrating, then maybe you should quit, it doesn't get easierI'm not sure we're understanding each other. The only thing I find frustrating is sitting there waiting for the program to show me what I'm doing for everything I click. If I had better hardware there wouldn't be any frustration at all.I don't find normal 3D modelling tasks frustrating (actually I like them a lot).>if on top of it you hardware is extremely badOn top of what? The hardware being bad is the one and only problem here.>You need some serious horsepower to render stuff, be it a GPU or CPU.I know, but at the end of the day I don't have that, so I'm trying to find the best (or rather, least bad) solution for my circumstances, so I can dcide if it's worth continuing or not.>>691310>How long did that take you?A few minutes.>Most sane people render small previews or regions then use renderfarms for their final.I just rendered the image to show the guy that I did watch tutorials before worrying about this sort of stuff.I don't render the full image every time I want to see what I'm doing. I use the viewport with the shading set to "rendered" or "material".
>>691314imo, there's so much to learn besides rendering. your skills are not going to waste if you don't render right away but do it later. However, you seem more interested in graphic design and composition rather than 3d modeling, so perhaps blender isn't the right software.
>>691314If the render times are killing you, try going eevee, then finalizing in Cycles until your hardware gets better
>>691314>>691350Also do preview renders in lower quality before you commit to a full high quality render. High quality renders inherently take time. So try to get the look down in lower quality.
>>691342>imo, there's so much to learn besides rendering. your skills are not going to waste if you don't render right away but do it later.True, but it's still part of the process, and I can't avoid it for however long it takes me to get a powerful computer.>>691350Unfortunately as soon as I open the Material tab in Eevee the whole program crashes.>>691351Yes, that's what I already do, thank you.
>>688393post it on r/blender for mega karma and attention
>>688479I don't think smart people get herpes on their face
>>688478>>691529Do you actually think she even remotely touched that water?
>>691559No, but again, smart people don't get face herpes
>>691314Just kys m8. If you cant cut it here, you wont cut it when you're spending months on a single project.
>>688393>>688473>>688478Kek is this shit true? I heard this thot didn't even bath in this water, how did people get herpies from it? Also who the fuck would buy this?
