Why aren't you using Modo?
I don't have a license, my heart wouldn't take that much speed.
>>684840Because I'm not gay.
>>684840it was good until v9 or so.Now it's unusable bloatware like Autodesk
I was going to try it but I got Houdini instead. Wanted to try something other than blender. Houdini is really cool so far
>>684840I don't want a buttraping from the Foundry
>>684840I had modo indie until they shitcanned it. Any improevments since. Tbh Max is fine for my needs anyway.
>>684857>>6848654chan actually degraded to being afraid to pirate a thing
>>684869>he hasn't heard the stories
>>684870Neither have IWhat stories?
>>684870so how exactly evil foundry will hook you up if you never shitpost on the web about using modo and not paying for it?also firewalls exist>>684874foundry checks people who use modo if they actually own the thing and if they don't - send evil emails
>>684840because it's homo
>>684840sub par compared to max
>>684855actually in a similar position. What made you stick with houdini over modo?
>>684855>>684930pointless comparison. houdini is a generator while modo is a box modeling tool. modo has strong procedural stuff, but no one uses modo for that, it's just there. i did many models and rigs in modo and never touched procedural pipeline.
>>684840>>modobut who was moi3d?
>>684964Apples to oranges.
>>684907>sub par compared to maxIn some ways, in other it has better tools, like the thicken tool, the ease to create primitives wherever, that function to place stuff quickly, meshfusion, and a couple of other things are a little bit more streamlined. The only thing that really bothers me is having to drop the tool to do another selection.
>>684840im a blendlet forever
