How much would it cost someone to make a vr chat (quest)model of one of my characters in this cell shade style?
a thread died....for this
>>684718Depends on the complexity of the character.
>>684720would be this lil dude
>>684721Assuming you wanted it fully rigged and ready to use in-game, it'll probably cost you around $500
>>684722oof what if i just get it modeled
>>684723Maybe $350. Anybody that will produce any quality won't do it for less than that.
>>684721thats piss easy to model
>>684725i would assume so that's why I'm surprised it would be that much. Its a short character too.
>>684718How does it work. You just import models and textures. What are the formats specs etc. Like a poster above said complexity would determine price.
this is the requirements for quest models
>>684726500 bucks is cheap for a rigged character model amigo. More complex characters would be 2000 easy
>>684721Here is a blockout of the character. Let me know if you want to proceed. If a couple of anons want to take on different things like rigging or texturing to make it cheaper fine by me.
It seems like a lot of money, but you're really paying for full rights to the product. Nobody else owns or controls the product but you, not even the artist. The reason why booth models for VRChat are only 50-60$ USD converted into yen, is because they are selling them to the public and thus they will get bootlegged anyway. That kind of stuff is more for the publicity than to earn a decent living.
>>684718poor anon here if you have references ill model it for 100$
I suggest you talk to >>684771 further.is >>684781 but damn that shit is easy to model.
>>684771that doesn't look anything like the pic but beggars can't be choosers I suppose
>>684771vrchat fag here, use this to rig it to a standard vrchat skeleton https://www.mixamo.com/
>>684783Well it's a blockout and nowhere near finished. It's also ortographic and not posed like that. If you have suggestions I'm all ears tho.>>684788Cheers. Dont know much about this scene.
