How much would you charge me to create a low poly model like this (including texturing) ?How much would you then add to the bill for 4-8 animations?- attack1- attack2- hit- idle1- idle2- ability1- ability2- ability3
>>684360>$600the same person is rarely good at animation and modelling and rigging. A freelancer should know better than to do all in one for cheap. Financially wise, you could just get a naive retard to work fulltime for free as a co-game dev for many hours of labor and revisions but no equity in your monetized passion project.>india would probably do it for $300.
>>684360Modeling and texturing is one thing, but animations as well? That's wayy too many you have listed there. Rig, clean topology and 8 animations on top? I doubt you would be able to deliver resoult result of acceptable quality within reasonable timeframe.
>>684366>>684412Alright so what if I make the model myself. How much would it be for only rigging and creating 4-8 animations?
>>684484this is pretty awful though, deforms your model horribly.
>>68436050-75, maybe 100 for the modeling. The UVing is worth like 30 - 40 bucks, but for the texture, don't kid yourself, there's nothing special there, a bunch of gradients and some basic handpainting, 25-30 bucks at most. The rigging and weight painting would be cheaper since it's a simpler model, 70 - 90 bucks. Depending on how complex the animations are, you could easily charge 50 bucks upwards for each, though something like an idle is worth 20 at most. Source: my opinion.
>>684557Do you like being poor.
>>684557haha so easy xddd simple gradients xddddude stfu
>>684557do they allow you to shitpost while on breaks in the call centre?
>>684557I can actually do everything myself except for decent animations. Thing is also that I need animations for some more complex models (tails, wings, weird tentacles, etc) so I'd rather allocate my budget only for animations and do the modelling/texturing myself.
>>684589>>684591>>684607Oof, did I hit a nerve? Why don't you call your mommy to scold me?
>>684628Id rather call your doctor to properly prescribe your meds you delusional tit.
>>684557this seems pretty reasonable to me? dunno why everyone is sperging out
>>684677Because they are elitists... an Indian will do the same job for even half or less than what Anon said. None of these things are hard to do
>>684685>None of these things are hard to doeasier said than done, stupid faggot.
>>684360Throw it all on fiver and I'll have it done within the week.
>>684685I bet you aren't accounting for disparities in purchasing power. Of course an Indian will make it for less, but not because the work is inherently cheaper; only because the cost of living in India is lower.
>>684544you can touch up the weights after
>>684360Around three-four hundred bucks
>>684709>implying anything has inherent value
>>684791>what is time is money
>>684708ill have it done within 2 days.
10 business days.
>>684360you'll have to pay me to use themhow much?
>tfw finally manage to land a job on upwork>it's just some guy asking me to lend him my account for 100$ month to do god knows whatI regret spending time on this, it's full of pajeets and scammers.
>>684901report him lol
>>684902what's the use? I honestly don't even care anymore, it's amazing how humans always manage to surprise me in a negative way.
>>684903You'll save a fellow artist from coming across that guy.
>>684807What is the inherent value of time?
>>684901I remember when I tried to sign up on there>where did you go to school>who was your teacher>tell us about your parents>what's your body mass index>what is the distance between the center of your nipples>what is the circumference of your cock, at its largest point>tell us your biggest secret (don't worry, only potential clients will be able to see it)>once you've filled all out fields press 'next' to proceed to the next page with another 20 hoops to jump throughwhat a complete joke. i'm sure a handful of people can make it work for themselves but for 90% of artists it's NOT a worth your time. And not your dignity either.
>>684922Looks like somebody came across nihilism.
>>684949Not an argument
>>685041Looks like somebody came across rational discourse theory.
>>685130Nevermind, converted the image to a model and I'll figure out how to tweak it in blender
>>684360Realistically speaking, what do you think this should cost? What if I wanted even lower poly, say Dreamcast equivalent? How do you judge what something should cost?
