So why are you interested in /3/? What are you hoping to achieve/create? What compels you to learn more about 3D?

i like to poly model,texture/surfacing, uv unwrap, rigging, and will probably get into sculpting because its got merit, dont plan on doing 3d for a living tho, just a hobby

I'm into architecture. I didn't really know to what extent 3d is used in this field other than building floor plans and fabrication but I recently found out about archviz which piqued my interest but I feel like Im not creative enough for that line of work.

As long as you have a good flow of inspiration and a motivation to practice Architecture, Arch visualization is a great way to motivate and promote creativity. Not to mention it looks really cool and impressive

I honestly want to create visuals to go along with my music. I'm just a one man band and it's not really fun watching just one person play on stage, even if the music is good/you're not a DJ. So taking a note from DJ's and EDM shows, I'm incorporating live visuals and 3D/Film. The hardest part, really is not falling into the VJ loop realm. I actually want to tell a story.
