Plan on it. With 2.8 and Eevee, you can make infinitely better looking animations than the shitty looking sfm ones, plus you can do a lot more once you learn the program. Don't be a sfm baby forever, take it from someone who makes a living wage off of patreon-cucks ;^)

Hi. I started out with SFM and literally the transition to Blender was so amazing thanks to my prior experience with SFM. SFM uses roughly the exact same keyframing system albeit with different controls.

There’s no reason not to. You have so much more control over everything in Blender.
