I gotta say using blender2.80 for quick morphs or fixing clothes works better than I expected.Also, not sure if it's just me but it feels like the sculpting tools work WAY better than in 2.79. in the old version you had to fiddle around with brush settings a ton before it was kinda usable.

Just duplicate the eyebrow region of the model into a separate object, add a shrink wrap modifier to it, set the modifier to 1mm outside of the head's mesh, and use the same transparency style material as the eyelashes. You can also fake the translucency by adding a tiny tint (like 0.25) to the specular reflections... Or just straight up use transparency. I've found it looks better because it doesn't effect and isn't effected by the skins SSS, has its own bump, and stands out from the mesh slightly when viewed at angles.You add like 20 quads to the model, but whats 20 quads on a model with 17k as a base?

I hate how most daz hair doesn't have an actual hairline on the forehead. Modern games should be fine with their higher res textures but you can really see the age with older stuff like zero suit samus. But those cases, the costume is so low detail you could probably get away with tossing some bum/detail materials to mix with the blurry low res diffuse.

Is there a way to make Studio fucking STOP refreshing every fucking smoothing modifier on every part in the scene when something gets manipulated that isn't related in any way to the thing that gets refreshed?For some reason sometimes it works, for example one character has smoothing applied on the top and while the other character gets moved around, the smoothing doesn't get refreshed. In other cases literally EVERYTHING gets refreshed just when one object in the scene that doesn't even have any modifier on gets moved.

Loading in any dForce hair is rough for my PC, even if I'm not simulating or rendering it. New to the DAZ/Poser world, but not 3d. I have a project that needs tons of human characters and I am considering Daz or Poser, I've seen great work out of both so I am curious what reasons exist for choosing one over the other?
