What causes this and how can I fix it?
This is a xnalara model converted to Blender with an addon.
It happens to every model I use that has an abundance of hair planes/sheets.

Add translucency. The correct settings are kind of complicated, but not terribly hard once you understand what the shader does.

Go to Render tab > Light paths > increase transparency max to 64 if it doesn't fix it, increase to 128, etc

I've toyed around with both of these but neither worked
