i'm a beginner at zbrush with probably less than 10 hours clocked in total trying to make some armor and can't for the life of me figure out why the FUCK my rivets won't insert flush against the surface, it's always some absurd angle. I placed a bolt down from the built in pack for comparison. please help a zbrushlet out it's really pissing me off
y don't u just add them as subtools and move them into place with da gizmo, breh?
>>672517because a suit of armor has hundreds of rivets. fuck that let me place them automatically attached.
>not just making the base model in 3ds max then importing the model into Zbrush to use dynamesh for detailing
Figured it out for anyone else with the same problemIt's saved relative to your camera position before you insertmesh and append, so if you do a top down view of what you want as a brush it should work vise versa
>>672515The angle depends on the camera orientation when you create the insert mesh brush. You should watch some tutorials and learn the basics first.
