>>671074>not using SculptGL
here is my second creation.
>>671185That doughnut needs some sprinkles.
>>671185Looks like that was 895 bucks well spent.
>>671196I can't tell if your being ironic or not. :/
>>671185It looks more like a goblin mask than an actual goblin head. On that note, it does look like a very nice mask.
>>671185same poster as first poster.ur still not taking ur time but this is better its in u ;) keep at it
>>671074>my first threda outside wip>finished this tut>with mouse>former blender noviceis this the ultimate /3/ggering combo or something is missing? please don't tell me you hail from India
When someone is at such a noob level as yourself, there is no point in asking for critiques. Get a tablet and do a whole buch of tutorials. The rock grubber tutorial from gnomon is still one of the best to this day.
>>671366>>671411checked and agreed
>>671411yikes whats up with this zbrush userbase fascination with ugly monsters and demons? is it because anyone can sculpt nasty things and you can't go wrong with them unlike humans?
>>671431yes
>>671431>>670732>>670761
>>671431You could say that about anything.Anyone can create anything, but only a small percentage of people can actually get to a mastery level and make whatever that thing is look good. Its also the fact that doing humans is incredibly boring.
>>671502>Its also the fact that doing humans is incredibly boring.
>>671509No, it's because doing realistic, good looking humans is incredibly challenging and bashing together mechas, aliens and monsters is trivial in comparison.
>>671513To you.
>>671513>muh realismjust use a camera lmao
>>671502>You could say that about anything.not really. anything - other than things we have a very personal understanding. like "boring" humans and derivatives.nobody has seen a(non-humanoid) demon or monster or ayy or whatever. you can't go wrong with these - simple understanding of kinesiology will get you extremely far and convincing already.humans on the other hand?? anatomy is a nightmare to remember and apply, despite us literally looking at this anatomy every time we look at mirror!I'd say, NOTHING is more hard than sculpting a convincing human, it may be boring, but it's undeniably a pinnacle of human-made art.
>>671545If argue one step further and say making an animated system using ncloth skinning on bone and muscle models to get a realistic human is harder too, but it looks way better than a sculpted body with blendshapes in my opinion.
>>671513I get way more excited these days over monsters/mecha or stylized work. As an artist I have no drive to recreate nature perfectly.
>>671513This. The perfect human form is as patrician as it gets
>>671866oh look we got a fucking scholar here
based thread.
