I'm trying to export a model from Zbrush to Maya using GoZ, but whenever I click the GoZ button it keeps attempting to open Photoshop instead (actually, it even keeps trying to open InDesign for some reason).

I had made, among other things, a Texture Map, so is it possible it's confused by this and thinking I want to open the Texture Map in Photoshop?

Is there anything I'm overlooking?

What I mean here is that at first it keeps trying to open InDesign but then eventually gives an error saying that Photoshop crashed, so I think its path to some Adobe product is confused.

But I don't even want it to go to any Adobe program.


Also, I set the path under GoZ in the Preferences tab to 'path to Maya'.

after that, click on the "R" button near the GOZ button on the tools menu to reset the application if needed be.

Hm, okay. I'll try that.

It looks like I'm using Zbrush 2017, which on searching google it seems might not work with GoZ for Maya. I might have to just export obj files + displacement maps etc.

Tried it. Dang. So now it's not opening up Photoshop, but it's just saying 'file saved to disk', but nothing is appearing in Maya.

Hol up. I closed Maya, then tried again with Maya closed, and it started Maya up itself with the model in there.
