Unironic questionI probably have some autism and am good at 3DCG.I also notice people who do this professionally or not all have a bit of noticeable 'tism. If I go work in this field are the people all gonna be tistic.?
Yes, most people in this chat are artistic, as 3DCG is a creayive field.
>>657604this but with less typos
>>657592i have autism
>>657592you sound retarded, thou...
>>657592Yeah dude, everyone that has a job related to arts is a friggin autist. Look at all those rennaissance autists - drawing one work for years. They passed the autism for generations
>>657592Most of them are gonna be introverts, which you may or may not interpret as autism depending on your level of unironic retardation.
>>657627I wonder how the fuck any cooperation is even possible in big companiesmanaging artists would be akin to herding cats
>>657689Your mindset as a commercial artist is different than when you are tinkering away at some labor of love. Anyone who make it as a commercial artist quickly learn to reel in their own ego and respect the vision of their patron. There is certain pride in proffesionalism and a certain joy in being surrounded by others who share your passions. That said it isn't very unusual for creative people to pull out of 'the industry' soon as they discover a nieche where theycan strike coin off their own vision rather than throwing their limited time away pulling stuff someone else wanted into existance. But that is the same regardless what you sell your time for. Sometimes you just gotta bite the bullet and be a mercenary whore to provide for yourself and others.Still beats flipping burgers and all that.
usually people that model mechs and overly designed machinery have autism.
>>657627If you're asking unironically: no, you're just retard. No, you're not special, autistic, or whatever you wanna feel to try to make yourself "unique" for using programs to model things. If asking ironically: yes, i'm autistic myself
I've been told that dyslexics have a better sense of geometry. The descriptions of dyslexia and autism seem to blur a bit at times.
>>657694Just professionalism in general is a rare trait in online artist communities. Several years of commissioning furry porn have left me valuing artists who simply do what they say they are going to do in a timely manner, rather than the most skilled, unique, creative etc.
>>658258Im curious about this, where did you hear?Been dyslexic for a long time, failed out of most math stuff and was a huge pain/barrier for anything else involving numbers id fuck up (patterns and sequences/similar numbers i not only mix up but invert order without being conscious about it) but a few years ago 3D became my passion and yeah have an interest in geometry/topology. Spent an absurd amount of hobby time just examining models from games just to see wireframe views/rigging.
>>657592Better question "Are people who animate all autistic?"Answer: Yes.Especially those who browse /co/ or work in anime or VFX.
>>658439Did you mean hard surface modellers?
>>657592I just want to feed my family
>>657592if you really had autism, you woudn't care, bitch.
>>658460Nah, I meant in general.And I also meant to say 4Chan(nel), not just /co/.
Your mistake is you thinking humanity is experienced at psychiatry anywhere beyond reading a tea leaves, and autism being anything more than a stupid meme diagnose.
wish I had autistic /3/ gf to model things together
