>when you have no gpu and your cpu is so shit 3d view looks much better than rendered image.
Render at a higher sample rate, like 256.

It will take a while but Blender's best feature is that you can run it on basically anything. If you have a particularly large render, just render it overnight until you get better hardware.
aw no need. I am just playing with it. Actually what i need is just simple low poly models for mobile games.
I would break it. With anger.
I already did.

cool, don't post your trash here then
There are two or three threads that are set up for posting this exact sort of thing. I get that /3/ is a slow board, and we need every thread we can get, but this is just unnecessary for such a small project.
>I rate your thread absolutely retarded/autism
>I rate your mug 8/10
I hate your thread, but not your cup. Good for a first project.

I'd suggest using a better renderer, or running the image through dust and scratches filter in photoshop, it's a quick and dirty way to get rid of the white pixels and noise

And just to be clear, you I don't hate you either. Everyone (most people) are welcome on /3/.

me again
this is my after tutorial doodle
tried to make a body but there is too many things i don't know yet, like mirroring etc
(im only at the texture tut rn)
was fun thought, i'll continue or redo when i have more skills
and yes i did selected half then deleted then copy then rotate then re-attach the two halves by hand everytime i changed something on one side
fuck you, the point is to get confy in the software
>i ate the donut because it was shit

Do you like eating shit or what?
That's the typical Blendlet for you.
Cycles does not require this type of lightning anymore.
Increase sample count? This is my most recent render and everyone says it looks good. Blender/cycles.
I'm glad to know that, despite my struggles, I don't post when my shit looks like this.
Godamn, I have very similar CPU in my laptop. Good job on the patience
this is true art
Looks good, but the alamy-fireflies are a bit distracting.
I took a bite of mine, I forgot to subdivide so I choked on a quadrangle

just made this
also just realised my graphic card is unsupported, i have to render with cpu only..
how fucked am i?
What is your graphics card? Also just render overnight
An old OpenCL radeon with a tetrascale 2 architecture,
cycle only support GCN architecture models since the second gen so im fucked
it's fine for now, im doing static images and my quadcore cpu works fine (about 30sec for a simple static HD render at 100% like >>651489
) my rig is almost 10yo so i was expecting it
im reading shit about e-gpu but i supposed you can't use one with an old mbp, but i like the idea maybe for a future setup

apparently a macbook + egpu setup is doable if you run hight sierra and have a thunderbolt 3 port

with something like this (used by apple for their VR testing and stuff)

only works with AMD currently it seem, i see some yt tuts for making it work with nvidia cards as well but idk

I don't have a recent MB with thunderbolt 3 but i wonder if it would be worth it

from what i read a setup like this would require:

>recent mac running high sierra
>thunderbolt 3 port
>e-gpu breakaway box
>an AMD card known to work well with blender
also found this, posting here for possible macfags interested
nod bad desu
more interesting stuff

Way too skinny on the bottom. Slightest tap will cause it to spill.
