If u stand on one of those squishy pads, it save yours knees. I would alternate between sitting and standing throughout the day tho, which these desks allow you to do. Sitting all day is awful for you. Standing is not too bad, as long as you aren't locking your knees

there's a couple recent studies that suggest standing all day is actively bad for you, worse then sitting. The ideal is to alternate, and to take periodic walks during breaks regardless of weather you're sitting or standing.
