real op here.. i think you guys are missing the point. That image is just a pic i grabbed off of google when i searched vray. sheesh.

I agree there is plenty wrong with the rendered image. None of you guys bothered to mention if you knew where to find vray next.

Have you tried Chaos Group? I think they have made some public releases already. 3ds Max was one of the first to get it, I believe.
