Good for architectural and product visualization type shit, also good for quick mockups of models youre too lazy to properly texture and render properly. Besides that its mostly meme garbage but I still use it more often than i'd like to admit

You can get amazing renders with keyshot, its just that most of the people that are using it are concept artists that arent really using it properly. They just chuck on default materials and lighting then hit render. Which is why most of the stuff you see isnt that great, you can push keyshot alot further.
