I'm making a game. It's going to be a huge hit and earn me billions. Obviously.

I need assets though. Where can i find free assets that come with animations?
>>
Online, obviously.

Not here
>>
I'll make em

5k a pop though because time is money

what do you need?

I'll make a counter offer OP. I'll make all your assets for 25 bucks each.

You need to recognize that people can't just give you things for free. It does require time and labor. I'm even willing to sell these to you at a complete loss but I simply and others can't do it for free.

At that point you would have to torrent free assets. And even then, when you release your game with stolen assets, I and others will report you and you will pay more in legal fees and a lost reputation, more than you would if you just bought them.

Choice is yours

That has got to be one of the most numale apartments I've seen.

Okay, that's fair. Realistically if I buy a premade asset pack like this one:

https://assetstore.unity.com/packages/3d/environments/dungeons/dungeon-builder-starter-set-4590

would an artist i hire be able to create assets that match the quality and style of the assetpack?

>>641561
I would but I already have to learn 2d art and programming.

IT'S AN IDEA GUY! Run, everybody, RUN!!!

It's almost like game development takes work wow

Why don't you find a 3d artist willing to take on like 50% of the project and profits and make something together?
Unless you want to buy stuff that sort of works and kind of fits together from the unity asset store, turbo squid or cubebrush.

I bet you are full of IDEAS.

I can do concept art, character/creature sculpting, hard surface modelling, retopo/uv/texturing, rigging, animation and even programming.
My strength is creature work, rigging/sculpting.
$1'000 an hour.

use free assets and make yet another shovelware trash

>mobile cartoon graphics with chromatic abherration
>quality
i give up on this industry
>>

I have an offer. I'd say 1 dollar for each model if the game is low poly, and 5 dollars each for anything else. Also, make it 3rd person, thats the easiest to animate.
>>
>>641690
sounds like a really amazing game...
>>
>>641690
Surely 1st person is easier right?
>>
>>641553
Isn't the indie game market like totally over-saturated?
>>
>>641973
By pieces of shit like OP? Yes. Yes it is.
>>
>>641973
if you make a shitty 2d pixel platformer game, or an over saturated genres, yes.
if you actually have experience and make a quality product you can make a decent living even without selling millions of copies

If you make a game with premade models and animation, the most money your gonna get is about $2
