1ST: Can someone point me in the right direction on where I can learn how to rig a model to fall apart like they do in this clip of Doom Risen 3d at 4:25?

2ND: have question about topology in doom3. Some of it was kind of messy, but because of this, the models needed less polys to look good. Does anyone understand making models this way?

3RD: Aliens VS Predator 2010, does anyone know where I can find a good tutorial on how to rig the models to you shoot an arm it falls off but the enemy still comes at you?
>>

I can sorta answer question 3. Not a computer scientist but here is a link to how Valve programmers answered blowing off limbs on enemies.

Never knew such a small detail was so complex to make.

that's just a soft body, maybe a shape key, + the pop up of other mesh over, shouldn't be hard to do

Check for lod tutorials, most of thme are just decimated versions

that's just like drop a gun, make the arms / legs separate pieces

Thank you, hmm droping a gun? I will have to check into that, as for the body falling apart, thank you.
Oh yeah doom3, never thought of it that way. I will check that out.
