I use Blender. Is there a way to do this on a cylinder in Edit Mode?
>>639106So how do I do that?
>>639113As the circumstances of your problem change, so does the methodology required to solve it.

Try hiding everything except the edge loop you want to tilt, then use proportional falloff on linear.Sorry if the tool names are not accurate but im in bed and can't be bothered to look them up.
>>639104select the vertex or edge u wanna move and press g twice then u can slide it
>>639104Use the bisect tool in the edit mode.
Scale with 3d cursor
Just boolean it, goddamn.
Just stab your monitor. It's not that hard to do.

The knife tool is pretty handy if youre in wireframe mode.
Edit mode > select that edge > drag the axis you want to push it in
>>641474What is it with /3/ and a lack of reading comprehension?
>>641479Interestingly, it happens mostly with Blender users. It's a curious phenomenon for the which I still haven't come up with convincing hypotheses.
>>641493Blender users are attracted to blender because of the lack of price point and therefore low bar of entry. With so many random video tutorials on YouTube, people feel as though the documentation isn't worth going through.
