Finished this model last night and finalized the pose this morning. Part of a larger 3D scene I'm working on.
Hopefully the system will let me post the Sketchfab link:

a thread died for your shitty model, faggot
>>
>>621993

Its a fucking finished model you illiterate dumb fuck. Why would I post in the /wip/ thread for a completed model?
Go ahead and shit up the board with new flame bait Blender threads like that's contributing to anything substantial.
>>
Well, maybe there should be a thread for finished work bragging/C&C. It's not like we can have a hundred threads going on at once, like a typical bulletin board forum.
>>
>>622008
That would be nice! But it would probably be as dead as the other boards outside of /wip/. Most people either post 3D models from outside users who are not posting on 4chan or meme 'Donut' tier tutorial models for a laugh.

>>622004
>based fur fag thinking his shitty low poly trash deserves its own thread
>>622008
plenty of post of finished or nearly done pieces in the wip thread, but hey way easier for him to act like entitled little shit
>>
>>622018
I literally just made an OP with a fucking Sketchfab link. I didn't act like an almighty God.
But I guess when you're an unproductive lard ass with no content to contribute to you make low effort shitposts on OP threads.
The true irony is that if you had fucked off and fapped to the Zbrush model tits posted in the /wip/ thread than this really would of been a dead thread.
Morons like you are truly a treasure. You honestly think that I'm so desperate for attention my first thought is to promote my model on a 4chan board that it gets foot traffic totaling 10 users a day.

Weird thread. Very spergy and autismal reactions to a simple furry creature. They are right in that you should post it in WiP, though.
>>
>>621990
It's not a very appealing character, the painted details look really flat (did you even bake any normals?), the specularity looks really bad and clashes against the cartoon style, the shadows are weird (too dark, but still soft / gradient on the edges). There's like no mid tones, and you have sculpted details (like the forehead fur) that really clashes with the hand painted details of the shirt.
The hands look really bad, but it's also that you can't see the detail very well due to the shadows and the specularity. If there's any AO present (maybe in the forearms?), it's really minimal and isn't bringing out any of the details not that AO is exactly necessary with hand painted textures.
The composition is really bad, you have him sort of posed but it's like 75% of a T-Pose; if you're just going to take a viewport screenshot (which is fucking lazy for starting an entire thread over) you might as well just put him in a T-Pose with his props floating to the side of him. If you're not going to do a T-Pose then do a proper scene, doesn't have to have a background necessarily but at least pick a nice solid color (not grey), add in some proper lighting, have him do an interesting pose, and other Composition 101 shit.

There's some other technical problems with the model in terms of like the mismatched details on the pants, too much symmetry, some other problems like with the color balance.

>>622043
OP's entire thread is "HEY EVERYONE! I FINISHED A MODEL!!!", that's not going to get a good reaction (especially when it's this bad).
Even when someone starts one of these threads with say Tor Frick pieces and wants to talk about his latest shit, there's a few contrarian retards.
>>
>>622046
Buddy I left a link to Sketchfab with the final render in the OP. My stupid Maya work space screenshot is not the 'final look'. Of course nothing is fucking baked. You spent 3 paragraphs critiquing a screen of a low poly mesh with a texture map.
2/3rds of the thread is rage comments on OP screen grab in unrendered Maya.
>if you're just going to take a viewport screenshot (which is fucking lazy for starting an entire thread over)

If your too fucking lazy to copy/paste a link literally at the end of the OP to go full sperg on the final fucking model on Sketchfab than maybe you should rethink the length of your post and simply of done a drive by 'kill yourself furfag' post.
>>
>>622056
Wew, what a fucking asshole. This post does belong in the /wip/ threads, no matter how complete it is, because the /wip/ threads double as critique threads to gather constructive feedback on your model. If you're posting just to show off, and you're not looking to gather any pointers on how to improve your technique, you're in the wrong place. No one likes a show-off, especially ones that insult their audience.

...
You're a faggot.
I don't care about the grain of sand you finished in your entire scene.
Also lurk more faggot. /wip/ is basically just the show things off thread.
You should know that most threads that get created are shit and you're just shitting it up even more.
Chock on your OC furry's fag cock.

>Insulting the audience

What baby trigger shit is this? I've gotten plenty of feeback on other sites and groups I've posted on that actually addressed the final model display. If you can't be assed to click the link why should I be assed to take feedback on a Maya viewport screenshot that doesn't even represent the final result.
>>
>>622058
I'm not against feedback. I'm telling people that the final presentation of the model is on fucking sketchfab and pointing out that the model isn't 'baked' is nonsensical because the OP screen grab isn't the final model ANYWAY.
I'd be one thing of someone told me to fix edgeloops on the arm because they are basing it off the final model render. But if your saying it has no normal maps, well yeah...the screenshot of a low poly mesh doesnt. But the final model IN THE LINK does.
If your going to expend that much effort on a critique at least take the extra two seconds going over to the link that shows everything from the fucking topology to the vertex count. That's why it's there.
>>
>>622079
Taken out of context like a triggered tumblrina. What the hell even is the rest of your argument? I didn't even give you feedback on your model. The only thing I critiqued was your assblasted attitude. And judging by your last sentence, you're so far from home. You're on motherfucking 4chan, kid. No one gives a goddamn fuck about you or your work. They just see it, give their honest thoughts and it's on to the next poor son of a bitch. And why post a viewport screenshot if what you wanted to show off was your sketchfab? Shoulda posted a screenshot off the sketchfab rather than your viewport. Pretty much no one on this site clicks on links often.
>>
>>622081
But you gave enough of a shit to argue with me. We are all losers on this site dipshit. You all especially gave enough of a shit arguing in this 'dead' thread when you could of made another drive by shitpost in a Blender thread.
But thanks for admitting that anons would rather waste 5 paragraphs sperging on a screenshot as opposed to clicking a hyper link.
>>
>>622082
Man, your newness reeks. Guess summer really is early this year. Do all of us, and most importantly yourself, a good favour and just go back to the websites where everybody tells you "wow fantastic work!!" "you're so talented!!" already. You clearly aren't accustomed to the culture of this place, seeing as you think "haha wow everyone insults everybody let's do it too!!" and how your only counter-argument to people giving you shit is "g-go back to giving the blender users shit a-and, STOP BULLYING ME ALREADY!".

Either lurk more and stop getting so assblasted when people give you standard-issue reactions, or just go back to your safe space.

>you gave enough of a shit to argue with me
Oh well, they do say the internet exists for people to argue.
>>
Since when do people give a shit about the quality of threads on /3/? Nine out of ten threads here are shitposting about Blender. We literally have no mods or janitors for fucks sake.

There's nothing wrong with someone posting their work in their own thread, as long as they are willing to accept critique on their work. It's a step up from the usual trash here. OP's work isn't even that bad, considering the vast majority of actual work posted here is meme shit and ZBrush WIPs that go absolutely nowhere.

If you want C&C on your "final" render go post it on the WIP thread. We are under no obligation to follow whatever links you deem appropriate to put in your posts. We'll take your work only as what you directly present us with.
