Corona is better than Vray (3dsmax)

Quality shitpost.

Didn't Chaosgroup buy Corona ages ago? I've used both and gotten the results I wanted out of them. Vray seems to be adding more new crap more frequently. Their new hybrid renderer is around 10% faster than Vray RT for me and supports many of the features that were broken on RT.

the standalone UI is pretty shit to be honest
but the results are stunning (from most examples iv seen)

id say corona arnold and redshift are very hot right now
vray is still being used for most tv work so im not sure if studious will abandon it for other things

Wait till Arnold and PRman finish they GPU engines. Octane's reign will be over.

Maybe that's why they'll be making it free for 2 GPUs.
