Blender was a mistakehttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iDoPTQThGI0
Dear god what is this
Just look at the avatars for those comments. JUST LOOM AT THEM
>>620864>Made with Blenderhttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z9_BAWdtva8
>>620903I don't want to live anymore.
>>620903>Four million fucking views in less than a month while I can't even get ONE studio to look at my portfolio. At this point I'm just waiting for the sweet release of death to set me free.
Why even try ?
>>620911Well, umm, how do that many views translate into money?
>>620918If there are ads being run, I believe the rate's still around a dollar to a thousand views (may have changed a lot since the whole adpocalypse thing, but should be still around there). So you're looking at around $4k for that one video.
>>620927I'm starting to consider selling my soul. Making those animations can't hurt that much, right?
>>620928Actually, no, probably not. Where it's gonna hurt the most is _getting_ those views. YouTube's a shitfest at the moment, something like if you don't break a view quota per month you won't be eligible for Adsense (where all your youtube money's gonna come from) meaning you won't get paid at all. You could probably attempt to pander to the algorithm and create really niche content for fandoms (the mlp one is a fantastic example, futuristichub is a traumatic example that focuses on really weird almost fetish minecraft animations). It would come with the label of "weird [fandom] animator" that'll be stuck there for the rest of your creative career, though.
>>620931>futuristichubI thought this read 'futuristchub' and I was sickened and intrigued at the same time
>>620932To be honest, that's not off. He and his content are both sickening. Seriously, don't let your intrigue get the best of you.
>>620933On the one hand I want to look, on the other I just told someone to stop hovering on KF so maybe I better follow my own advice
>>620864He succeeded in making them disturbing
>>620864the video itself is the mistake.
>>620931What about working under an alias? Is that possible with Youtube? I wouldn't want to have that embarrassing tag attached to my name.
>>620949Well, of course, hence the use of "creative career". Pseudonymous artists are very common, even if they make serious proper content. Make up a fake stage name and hope to god you don't mess up and leave clues that could connect that fake name to your actual person.
>>620945Not just the video, but the guy himself was a mistake.Blender, Maya, doesn't matter, he should have never opened a YouTube account, let alone be on the internet.
>>620903>https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aieMk5TFJaM
>>620958>>620911>4+ Million Views>She's just some random 18 year old bronySomebody just pull the trigger already.
>>620978>She's just some random 18 year old brony>animating someone else's assets, even
>>620864So fucking surreal and weird man. The quality of the animation and rigging is pretty damn good, and it's just this weird thing where he's standing and exchanging some banal dialogue with no meaning or arc. So fucking strange and disturbing.
>>620978>I had to be drawn by Mike InelNo wonder she's crying
>>620864What the FUCK did i just watch?
>>620871schizophrenia
his voice actors seem at least semi pros. weird.Does he pay them? And the characters and animation are quit good.
>>621239>Does he pay them?If he could pay voice actors, he could also pay for a better video camera.Something foul has to be going on here.
>>620864I'm really digging the design and the animation. Guy seem to be passionate about it, and he does good too. I don't see why would you laugh this off.>>620903He even made his own music, kek.
>>621357>I don't see why would you laugh this off.Because there's no story here, the characters are sparkledogs, the intercutting with himself (who cannot act), and the god awful needle teeth
>>621389>sparkledogsI wish I hadn't googled that term.
>>620864>>620903I don't... what am I- who is this cunt? Wow... just wow. I'm so gobsmacked I can't fathom words of digust to even form some semblance of a coherent description of this. This is beyond garbage, so much so that I can't even cringe. It is genuinely, stunningly bad. AND they're getting paid.I don't want to feel anymore
>>621406Fuck. I don't understand how any of these things are things. Curiosity got the better and mistakes were made. I had a bad time.
>>621406>>621448Welcome to 4chan. You're one more step away from being a tourist now.
>>621455Why, thank you. Took you a few years to welcome me.
>>621469I'm real slow
>>621389>sparkledogs>Only been at it a year.Lets see your youtube channel.Lets see your progress.oh, ok.
>>621389Imagine being this jelly.I can't believe how edgy /3/ turned out to be. I am honestly happy for this guy and his passion for animation and all.
>>621493Yeah, real jelly.I bet his mom only pays for half of that monthly pay.
