Is there some advantage in paying for a course on Udemy vs downloading Udemy courses free from random websites?

Can I get my artwork / projects reviewed by instructors for feedback if I decide to pay the money ?

It depends on the course. Usually, no.

If you pay, you'll have access to the "community" of each course, download materials, you'll have updates, etc.

If you don't pay, you won't have to withstand the "community" of each course, you'll download everything anyway, you (probably) won't have updates, you won't come to regret any money spent as thrown away in exchange for garbage, etc.

I have bought a course from udemy. They tend to be of lower quality (what would you want for 10 buck really), so it really depends. Unless you know that the lecturer is legit and professional or you're a beginner, I wouldn't bother paying.
