>tfw motivation returns, What are your current plans?
>>615901I'll start, planning to make a bunch of misc models and post for sale on cgtrader.Just for fun and to gain experience/ portfolio pieces.
ill probably work on an environment piece that is somehow related to the wild west.it would take me (probably) months to finish but whatever, as long as its good
>>615901chain the muse in the cellar and rape her until she stops leaving and begs for more
>>615902That makes two of us.I'm also learning Unity, after having dabbled in Unreal for a bit. I think I'll be staying with Unity; things look quite good for the coming releases.
>>615901I´ll Zbrush until i finally memorized all the new tools and best modelling techniques, then proceed to assemble a brand new library of rigged, ready-to-animate models for a web series. It will probably be porn.
>>615987nice juicy buns
>>615987You have found the way.
Finish this, hopefully. It's slowly getting there but there is still so much to do.
>>616001Nice, /a/' appartment.
>>615901My motivation returned but not for 3D. I've been working on music and film instead. And even though I'm making a lot of progress, I have this nagging guilt that I should be working on 3D. Ain't that some shit.
>>616035Damn, I know that feels. The good thing to remember is that progress is being made no matter the direction. The more skills available to use the better.
>>615974My dude! Can't wait for 2018 release. Is it supposed to happen this month or did they change the date?
>>616121Why, what's coming?
>>616123Huge upgrades in visuals among the rest. I'm surprised you haven't heard about it.
>>616121As far as I know, it's still expected to release this month. The blog post is from 03/20.>>616123Brace yourself: https://unity3d.com/unity/beta/2018.1b
Today I learned the basics of Cinemachine in Unity. One step forward!
Still trying to find a starting point to making environments in unreal. found some tutorials, but I needa make some assets. want to make some modular stone brick pathways/columns etc. but idk the workflow for this in an unreal environment and can't find any info about it.
>>616261What is the reason behind rendering with green screen for chroma keying in post processing, when you can render with alpha transparent background and do the same?
>>617651I'm not going to composite that. I just wanted to fill the void. But if I were to composite, you are totally right, alpha is the way to go.
>>617676Ok, thanks for clarifying
