Since I started learning about 3D, I can't get over how easy it must've been to make this fucking show. The models, the animations, everything.

Software was complicated, Hardware was several thousand times slower, everything was prohibitively expensive, workflows or methodology not standardized like today.Try it for yourself. Make a full episode-length animation of something...from start to finish, on time and on budget. It was never easy to do 3D and it's not now....at least if you want to sell the outcome.
I know a guy that worked on that movie. It wasn't easy but it wasn't manual labor either.
