Since I started learning about 3D, I can't get over how easy it must've been to make this fucking show. The models, the animations, everything.

Shouldn’t you be studying, Bryce-kun?
>>
>>612322
It wasn't. Software was complicated, Hardware was several thousand times slower, everything was prohibitively expensive, workflows or methodology not standardized like today.

Try it for yourself. Make a full episode-length animation of something...from start to finish, on time and on budget. It was never easy to do 3D and it's not now....at least if you want to sell the outcome.

I know a guy that worked on that movie. It wasn't easy but it wasn't manual labor either.

The varying texture densities are going to give me a heart attack.

What do you expect? It's MMD pleb shit.
>>
>>612482
So which is worse in your opinion, SFM, Blender or MMD?
>>
>>612584
MMD isn't that bad, it's that the great majority of users don't care enough to make it look good. There's some nice MMD content
>>

Blender, without a doubt.

I mean, it was used for Blade Runner 2049. So what else is there to discuss?
