Hey /3/

Can we have a general folio thread?

https://www.behance.net/Gringott

I was wondering what would you say about me.
>>
>>611991

The last thing I'll do is give the 15yo spergs on this board, who are busy with creating genitals and fighting about the best software my real name and face.

Your portfolio is great though, you're probably in the top 5% of this board and every additional minute spent here will dumb you down progressively.
>>
>>612046
>creating genitals

I _use_ the genitals other create. I'm not here to learn how to ``````model''''''' genitals to be paid minimum wages for whatever company accept me. I'm not a loser. I'm here to model elves and angels fucking goblinoids and being inflated with cum, and be paid handsomely for that.
>>
you already posted here before, didnt you?
>>
>>612049
Go back to your studies, Bryce-kun.
>>
Nice looking renders, good job!
>>
>>611991
noice
pushed like on all ur works
>>
Looks good because they weren't done in Blunder.
>>
>>612066
I only post on WIP thread. Whenever I go to the front page, you are calling other people than me Bryce-kun.

Do you have a mental illness?
>>
>>612473
>I only post on WIP thread
You telling me you didn’t initiate your GOAT thread?
>>
>>611991
Genuinely impressive stuff. Good job, man.

1 in 1,000,000 blendlets can do this. You other faggots are stuck with doughnuts.
>>
>>612539

Yes, you can tell by how noisy the renders are due to shitty cycles blendlets worship.

See what I mean OP? This board is absolutely useless.

Blendlets. When will they learn?

hi guys whatcha think about my latest render?
>>
can someone actually genuinely explain what is this noise and where it comes from? is it rays issue?
>>
>>612647
Raytracers work by shooting photons from the camera onto objects on the scene and getting color information from that. Naturally these are tiny tiny things so a bajillion quintillion of them have to be shot for you to have a "complete" scene.

Areas that haven't been hit with light rays don't have any color information to be processed into a frame, so they just show up as noise.
>>
>>612637
Maybe you shouldn’t crank up the ISO settings of your virtual camera so much. Just sayin’.
>>
>>612648
so... that means it's incomplete render?
>>
>>612658
"Complete" is difficult to quantify. When there are enough rays to not look like shit it is "complete". They are algorithm to help you decide when to stop, but you can always churn more rays to be even more beautifuller if you decide so.

As most people don't want six months of render time, they stop when it doesn't look like shit so much. Sometimes it stills look like shit a little.

As for >>612648, it isn't the whole story. Technically raytracer only shoot one photon for each pixel. It is pathtracers that shoot a bazillion of photons. Pathtracers are far more powerful than Raytracers and look photo-realistic out of the box, but the caveat is that you are simulating a bazillion of photons. If you decide to stop at only a half bazillion of photons, then you get grain and noise on your render.
>>
>>612682
>photo-realistic out of the box
There's no "one button press" solution to photorealism you imbecile, not even with pathtracers.
>>
>>612683
But there is? I have seen laymen take three free asset from somewhere, put one or two emissive surfaces, and have something photorealistic when rendering in a pathtracer.

Maybe you're just bad anon. Are you a Blendlet? You can tell me. I won't laugh at you. Sometimes you don't make the best choices in life, you know. I'm listening.

The only thing Pathtracers can't really do perfectly is caustics, and they can do them accurately enough if they aren't coded by morons.
>>
>>612685
your'e a fucking faggot with no understanding of 3D

go lift, run, study but don't post here, take care
>>
>>612689
Mate. I have built a Pathtracer from scratch. Unlike you little blendlet, I understand the equations behind them, and I understand why they are photorealistic. Quite literally because they couldn't be closer to the physics. Well, they could go forward instead of going backward, and that's why the caustics are slightly off, but that's a perfectly understandable optimization.

You are angry because you are an unemployed moron with no skill. I pity you and wish you good luck. I'm sure you will get somewhere in life if you stop being so angry all the time. Good luck anon!
>>
>>612696
how many years its been dude? from the moment you started shitposting on /3/ and now, people that use blender already found jobs, literally. how does that make you feel? that all of this time wasted here could have been used to make something of yourself. and instead you wallow in pain, drinking yourself to tears.
i bet if i walked in your room right now, id find some weird shit involving the blender foundation.
wrote you some advice above, i suggest you follow it before its too late

Thank you.

Its really nice to have such words writen about my work, thank you.

>>612602
Yes, but its funny to some degree

>>612795
Post some more, model is clean and crisp, but to really apriciate it you should show us topology and do some texturing. I like it tho.
>>

that mean
I opened all your works and pressed like

That's what I wrote to begin this thread. Literally exactly that happened. Fuck this worthless waste of bandwidth that is /3/
>>
>>612872
and what exactly happened? anons looked at dudes portfolios and found them generally appealing and pretty good
or is there something else in this?
