Which software was used for Mayday/Air Crash Investigation & Seconds from Disaster?

Maya, but they said it was Blender so they could hide the fact that they didn’t have licenses.

Any specific render engine? I'm residing in a comfortable spot with C4D Corona Render giving me good looking results, though if Maya is faster I'll probably settle in as I need advanced character animation tools eventually. I'm still figuring out how to get high altitude shots with clouds and all other atmospheric occurrences without having the render time be 1 hour per frame.

I only ever used blender for porting things out of blender or porting things for SFM, I am not downgrading
