how does one model this with blood flowing out of the veins realistically too? the only thing i can think of is zbrushing but what about the blood vessel cavities? is that boolean'd?
>>608795it has to look realistic, not like an anime girl in vr chat.
>>608824hence not blender
>>608793Go look at some real life gore (liveleak, bestgore, so on), you'll see that traumatic injuries (particularly crush injuries like this) make everything look like ground beefBy the way, there probably wouldn't be a lot of bleeding from this type of injury (although with blood, even a few CCs of frank blood can look like "a lot"); this injury would have compacted and torn everything at the injury site, acting as a natural ligation. The bleeding would occur from small blood vessels around the wounds, imagine the blood seeping out around the bones. t. former veterinary (as in animals) surgical assistant
Many waysId just sculpt and paint it within zbrush + post effects in photoshop and call it a day. Wasn't the blood to flow and gush? Particle effects and textures after its been sculpted/modeled.Want it to start as a normal looking hand and transition to the damaged one? Make a normal hand and a damaged hand and animate the transition using displacement maps and mesh deformers.
>>608880what's a mesh deformer? is that like a bifrost modifier?
>>608793why would you need to build such complex modeling, if its for cinematic, all you need is to seem like its real, so no complex blood vessels, maybe holes from which you'll make a separate animation for the blood squirting effects, which can be done in realflow
>>608798>>608827You are a complete idiot.
>>608793I hope president Trump does something soon about people like you who have been completely de-sensitized by excessive violence in video games.
>>608795You're a cheeky cunt I give you that
Like someone said before there wouldn't be blood gushing out, more like a constant drip from the finger tips and hanging flesh.
>>608793I've seen a lot of gore but this pic is fucking terrifying, holy shit.
