Animation is smooth enough for a shooter. The little struggle when taking off the mag is pretty neat.
I'd tone down that slap at the end a bit, its like he hates the gun and wants it to break as soon as possible so he can get another one.

Would look better with better models, obviously, but overall good.

Going to have to agree with him though in that it looks a little weird. The force is good, but maybe slow it down just a little bit. Not much.
Looks good though, could be AAA, but being able to do one thing right doesn't make you AAA. Nobody cares about an animator who can ONLY do gun reloads. My advice is to stop being so autistic about this and just move on to other shit. Or if you already have other shit, show us some of that.

In quality, no you're not hopeless.
In your ability to say "good enough" and move on? Yes. You are. You will never be AAA if you spend 5 years on each animation.
Remember, AAA cares more about a quality/quantity balance, not pure quality.
If you aren't fast, you'll never make it.

I love reload animating, but I also animate first person movements, things like that.

Once I get good enough on reloads, I will start trying to get good on humans

ptr (G3) owner here
nobody puts mags in a g3 clone that easily... it seems WAY too fake and completely unrealistic to anyone who has any actual gun experience. making an animation is just like making anything else and making it good, its the little details that really make it stand out its like you put no effort into it at all (if you're the same guy from the last 3 threads) you can take advice and criticism but unless you work meticulously and put real effort and passion into every little detail it's gunna look like plastic click clack crap everytime.

sorry for double posting... go to a gun store ask to see a ptr or g3 clone and finger fuck it for a few minutes... it'll give you a really good idea of how it should look, even maybe have someone record it

I hear you, it's hard but you are right, I gotta do the little things.

However, I am trying to do something along the lines of a rythm, call of duty, fast paced thing.

While I think it would make the animation stand out and be great if there was actual trouble, it just wouldn't fit what I'm personally trying to achieve.
