Took the advice, thought about weight, bone breakage, smoothness.. please judge me on my NEW Reload!https://youtu.be/HwpkHyhca3c
I am my own worst critic, and I think it's pretty good! Bumping this thread, hope you guys give me some great critique.
>>598798>>598801STOP MAKING THESE THREADS YOU FUCK
>>598798Looks smooth and flowy enough, im no expert tough
>>598802What is the skin off your bones, dude? It's /3/ related. Chill.
>>598806If you could compare it to call of duty, would it fit in their games? Is AAA quality? and thanks!
>>598809I dont like how the gun covers up the midle of the screen at the end. The first twist of the gun at the start stops like it hit a wall. A subtle rythm helps any kind of animation
>>598812I dont know what im talking about tough so take it with a grain if salt.
>>598812Yeah! I don't know why it seems like it hits a wall! That doesn't happen in the 3ds max viewport! However, the bounce back is probably too subtle to notice.Would you say other than that it's triple A quality?
>>598814It would look good in a game
>>598816Thanks bud, I appreciate it.
When the hand reaches back for the magazine the arm should be pointed lower, also the gun should sway a little bit when he dumps the mag. both nitpicks it's good already
>>598831Thanks friendo! The sway after the mag dump WAS in my 3ds max viewport, but it was probably to subtle to notice on the final render.I appreciate it!
>>598798As someone who knows guns pretty well, this is solid work. My only criticism is that in most cases on AR-15-style rifles, you'll be using the bolt-release paddle after inserting the new magazine. It the real-world, it's far faster than using the charging handle. That said, there is a certain "cool factor" that's missing when you go that route.
>>598808He makes a lot of threads like these, whenever he makes one or two reload animations he wants to show. It made people upset, and he apologized for it. Let's just hope he keeps it all in one thread like everyone wanted him to.
>>598798again. GO FUCKING HOLD AN ACTUAL GUN. NO ONE CHARGES AN AR while pointing the gun up and as an ar owner it triggers me because it looks and feels unnatural and retarded. GO TO A GUN STORE AND PLAY WITH THE GUNS A BIT
>>600828Not just this, but he should also record himself when he's messing around with the guns. Get a good feel for what you're doing and study it as well as other people who handle them professionally. Go to a shooting range, watch people next to you, take notes.
