>viewport inexplicably has to render AT MAXIMUM FPS IN REALTIME even when fucking nothing happens and you're not even moving your mouse or anything
>making your GPU cook in 5 minutes by doing nothing just because the software does not know what idling is
>there's not even an FPS limiter, you have to use external tools for that
>menus are sluggish as hell
>founder might send you angry mails if he finds out you sculpt dicks and tits with it

Yeah, nah.

Also - UI is absolutely full of spelling mistakes and typos.

I wouldn't even give a fuck about that but I can't get over that shitty viewport.
Why the fuck does it have to render an idling viewport at max FPS? Why can every other software just chill while nothing is happening?
>>

How about you uninstall it and use something else you big doo doo head.

Mari does the same shit, Substance Painter doesn't.
Just use your GPU driver software to enforce the monitor refresh rate per application.
Or in the case of 3D Coat use the version running on CPU not the one for GPU.

I wish knew the reason for that. I mean, even fucking Sculptris or Blender does not keep rendering like a mad cunt with not movement occurring. The most useless way of putting stress on hardware and unnecessarily heating up the shit

At least it can be handled. I also throttle UE4 down, no need for 150fps.

What does it matter, faggot

I've seen 3D Coat being used a lot for hand-painted models. So, is it still a good choice or should I use Mari, SP or whatever?

>>597680
this comment implies 3D Coat is deprecated now and I don't know anything about it.

Even blender/Maya do handpaint
>>
>>597683
This is why I use Substance its pretty reliable.
>>
3D Coat is great for painting NPR assets, far better than Substance.

if there is a function in a software it does not mean that it's refined.

3d coat has arguably one of the best painting tools..
iterally everyone uses it for hand painting.

So does Hexagon and Sculptris. Doesn't mean I want to use either one of them to paint textures on my model.

Have you been under a rock for a decade? It was some of the juiciest drama in the 3D sculpting field years ago.

>Have you been under a rock for a decade?
Yes.

>Of course, such a position could provoke many questions – and one of them would be – does God exist at all?
>We personally saw super natural events and healings as answers of prayers in our lives and in lives of our friends. Some of them were miracles.
I see...
