Just ordered my Z6. Am now £3000 poorer. But... holy shit.
That is all.

Commence saying stupid stuff....

Now.
>>
>>593640
Post specs and I'll tell you how stupid you are.
>>
>>593642
Y'know what? Nah.
This is my first post here in months. Just bought it and thought it might be fun to go troll you little losers at this place that I used to visit, one last time - but already I'm just thinking 'nah, these people suck.'

bye.

Lol, whatever.

Given the price, and looking at the configurator, it's probably a Xeon 4114, 16GB of RAM, a Quadro P1000 or 2000 and maybe an SSD.

Honestly a rather shit configuration all around, considering the kind of system you can build yourself. The premium you pay for even a barebones system of this class basically means you need to spend big bucks to make it worth it, but even then it's arguably not worth it.

..and on that day, not a single fuck was given.

>ordered a computer for 3D instead of building one
I'd tell you to kill yourself, but you live in euros, so that's inevitable.

I find few things more pathetic than buying a pre-built computer. *Casuals* are assembling their own PCs these days. That puts you below a fucking casual. How fucking awful it must be to be so fucking stupid.
>>
>>593738
More pathetic than trying to inflate his ego by parading the things he can afford around?
>look how "rich" i am you loooooosers
That's already rock bottom human trash tier.
He is also most probably totally incompetent when it comes to 3D.

Maybe in 2015.

even the xbox one x doesnt have a 1070. Hell, its equivalent is the 1050 at best.

Dude some people aren't comfortable tinkering with a pc. The first thing I ever did was install a new CPU, I was shitting bricks the whole time.

What does that have to do with 3d?

Why would you order a new pc now when gtx 2080s drop in January? Are you retarded?

Holy shit, do you also shit your pants when somebody talks to you or you have to take a test?
>>

>>
>>593839
You can always buy separate parts and let them build it for you. So it's the same as buying a prebuilt PC, but you get to choose exactly what goes in it.
>>
>>593871
>Working with tiny parts that are easy enough to fuck up that cost hundreds of dollars
>An activity which costs you nothing but time
Good analogy, anon.
>>
>>593640
It's a business write off, right? I mean you ARE incorporated right? So that you can do freelance work because that's WHY you bought this?

Pre-built is stupid, though I'd legitimately pay some kind of fee to have someone else apply thermal paste to my CPU and seat it on the board. That's so fucking nerve-wracking, but everything else is legos
>>
>>593870
>the next best thing is JUST six months away!
When is this ever not true?
>>
>>593840
Puget Genesis here. If I make $400-$500 an hour at my profession, why would I waste my time assembling a PC ?
>>
>>594030
Generalizing here but:
There's like a break point where if you're a hobbyist consumer buying the low end, you're paying a huge premium for the service of having your PC built.
Then there's the enterprise upper level where you're buying such expensive hardware or whole systems that having it pre-assembled is just part of the perks to get you to buy it.
>>
>>594030
^This. I don't have time to endlessly tinker around with my machines, I need them all up an running, so I pay for extended warranty and onsite service.
>>
>>593840
>>594030
Puget actually know what they're doing though, you can tell from the parts selection that they're PC enthusiasts themselves, and have articles dedicated to testing real software to find which components work best and in which applications. There's really no benefit to be had from building yourself when ordering from them, other than you're paying for your system to be assembled and tested.
Your typical Dells, HPs and Lelnovos however are rather shit and are chock full of parts that are either proprietary and can't be user-replaced, and use the cheapest bargain bin stuff to cut corners, on top of being overpriced because it's bought in bulk by large corporations anyway.
>>
>>594041
>I don't have time to endlessly tinker around with my machines
>I'm too dumb to fix my own shit and too lazy to learn

When a desktop actually has a problem. Unless you need to reinstall windows, it's less than a 30 minute fix. You'll spend more time than that waiting on your repair kid to go get your part when you could be back with it. If time ad money are a priority you suck at both. You are totally fucking useless. Nice try to pawn it of like you are a big dog business that somehown eeds to brag on 4chan about a workstation you paid 2X too much for.

>If I make $400-$500 an hour

Also, NO ONE MAKES $500 an hour you fuck stick. If you are paid that much you are on salary or own your own business, in which a case there are no set hours just what you what to claim when payroll comes around.

Not sure why I replied to this shit, but oh well. sage.
>>
>>594113
>Also, NO ONE MAKES $500 an hour you fuck stick.
Wrong.
>>
>>594188
Ok then, what jobs are paid $500 an hour that are not on salary?
>>
>>594113
Stay mad, pleb. I work in petroleum engineering. I can afford it to literally burn my money.
