Hi /3/I suck at this, how do I fix this face?>(It's suppose to be le attractive girl)
Yeah, no shit it doesn't look like le attractive girl. It's literally a face husk, it looks uncanny as shit. Where's the other stuff that goes *with* the head?
>>591341Give it eyeballs and eyebrows and you'll better recognize where things aren't right, maybe lip color with a second material assigned to the lip faces as well.
Stop watching Darrin Lile's tutorial.Study human facial anatomy and good topology.
>>591341Show topology

AYY
>>591400This doesn't look like a sculpt to me, edges are too clean and the surface is too smooth and it's just a surface
A. Sculpt B. Retopo C. Bake
>>591419A - Model B - Sculpt details C - BakeEnjoy avoiding to do retopo as much as you can.
I can't into eyes, oh geez.Is this shit better or worse? I can no longer tell.
>Wtf is anatomy?I just threw a big ol' patoot on top of some lumbar lordosis and called it a day.
>>591401LMAO
>>591486Go through a good tutorial, if you have to "figure it out" by yourself as a beginner, you're doing it wrong. You'll learn bad practices, just literally follow somebody in a video FFS, how hard can it be?
>>591486Stop showing us your model for now. It is horribly unfinished. It doesn't have eyeballs, it doesn't have ears, it doesn't have nostrils, it doesn't have hair. Until you put those things in, it won't look better or worse, it'll just look unfinished. This is the biggest mistake people make when they start out in character modeling, they focus 100% on the body and never manage to move past that "Man, my model doesn't look great but I don't know why?" phase.
Edge flow around mouth sucks, the proportions suck. Follow the advice, learn to draw and sculpt, then retopo and bake. It's easier
Nah, don't start over, it's already pretty good, you need to fix the topology and use reference, find a face to fix the proportions, specially in the front view, then you can focus on the shape of each part by itself. Also pay atention to the position of things, the eyes for example don't sit so foward on the face, they need to be pushed back, and the shape of the lips is horrendous. As an anatomy tip, the corner of the lips go as far as the pupilsThis head is not perfect, but you can see the shape of the eyes, and the shape of the neck/skull are better defined. You don't need eyebrows yet.
>>591488man of culture, etc
>>591341>>591343>>591351I fixed it.
>>591834Fuck this guy.Start the fuck over. you need more practice anyway. That will only happen through repetition and not by nursing this monstrosity you have created.
>>591341First, show the character design.Second, what software are you using?Third, is she supposed to be a sculpt (static 3D for showing) or an actual virtual actress for an animation/Videogame? Because there“s a TON of steps to take in consideration for the later.
>this thread is still up.Thanks for critique and feedback goizI'm just chugging through while scouring the web for the knowledge.
>>592158Do tutorials you stupid fucking faggot. Stop trying to reinvent the wheel, you pathetic pile of garbage
>>592158That's way better. When I got into soft surface stuff I found that best thing to start with is bones. Like just getting familiar with the human skull will help getting things right. Then muscles, etc...
