If you had just one program to decide to make an entire feature length animated film from, would it be Blender or Unity? Or something else?

If you want to create animations then go with Blender. You can then arrange and arrange the cutscenes inside uglity even though you can do it inside Blender (it will look way better in blender with cycles).
