Best poly modeler of the bunch, great sculpting tools, it opens fast and it's fast to use. It has some of the best UV tools. I have created a basic rig, it works fine but some important features are missing. I would not use it if I was an animator, but it's fine if you're a modeler who needs to make a few simple animations now and then.

I use it everyday, I got people I work with to use it. It's what you make of it. It can make you pretty fast and if you make macros and the plugins of recent are god tier. I can make AAA guns now in a day or two.

No but once I saw him in action with Modo I switched to it.

I had tried before switching from Max to Modo and after 2 days I hate it.
The next time I switched, I made myself complete a gun in it, took a while learning the ropes of modo, trying to find tools I missed from 3ds and so on, but I finished the gun, and now I use modo all the time.

Actually, just using the keygen and using it normally is not bad, block the firewall and be happy.

The problem comes when you use the RLM shit to activate all the products, that's when you know all the Foundry deathsquads are coming 4 u.

I've animated with Modo and it works just fine, the performance just needs some work. I'd rather rig and animate in modo than 3ds max that's for sure.

You want the Modo redpill?, Well, Its a great modeller, and shit, but setting it up its a pain Worse than using cheese razor between your ass and balls, you have yo change the navigation method, nou trouble on that, but you gotta set up new hotkeys, also MODO without scripts/ kits is not that bad, but there's no point without the cool booleans and easy selection (edge selection for example which i don't really found inside vanilla modo), also, you need atleast MOP and senecas, and make your configs, such as pie menus and other forms.

Kind of tricky to set up, need some scripts/kits to be really "fun and quick", and no, is not that kind of basic customization you do in max/maya to blender.
