Really? This crap is what I'm gonna have to learn to use in the field instead of Blender? The UI looks like it was made in the 90s. It's so pathetic looking compared to Blender but yet this is praised so much?

Industry standard.
Please neck yourself if you cant afford a basic tool.
>>
Blender UI doesnt look any better

I do agree with u on blenders ui being superior to most. However, you should try Cinema 4D. Its ui is actually pretty good though its tuned more for motion graphics and not modeling
>>
>>586505
Is Cinema 4D the next Blender shitposting?
Are you people retarded?

The UI is super comfy, everything you need is always right there in front of you and is actually made for humans, if you want to see convoluted try out Maya.

Some starter tips: LTFHK (learn the fucking hotkeys), also set up the ones you know you'll use most to the left-hand LB area; for example I have cut on T, target weld on Q, preview end result on tilde, and max/min viewport on spacebar.
Modifiers get used a lot in modeling, so set up a modifier set of your most-used ones, which makes them available as buttons on the panel all the time.
Later on you should also look into the quad menus, but literally everything in Max is configurable, so do it.

Bait, the Maya UI is the best one behind Cinema's4D. Max looks straight up from the 90's

Lmao fuck off you retarded pirate idiot.

>blenders ui being superior to most.
said no one ever.

C4d is also super comfy, but limited in its abilities compared to Max/Maya.
Still its the complete opposite of Blender when it comes to UI, and as a whole it is extremely polished and stable (compared to Max/Maya)
But if you do character animation or game development you should take either M or M.

autodesk employees.

You can learn Modo instead, most studios accept Modo artists.

C4D is the program with the nicest UI and the most mediocre features. it does everything, but it does everything pretty awfully.
that said, i'd still recommend it over anything else to beginners just because it's so easy to use, but also wouldn't recommend sticking with it for too long past getting the basics down.

>UI IS SO BAD OMGGGG
all UIs seem retarded at first
if you're not willing to learn in a field where softwares change and evolve all the time, better quit 3D right now bitch
>>
It is honestly really bad but you will get used to it
>>
>>586508
nah, Maya's UI is seriously not intuitive at all and hard to get around at first

OP would say MAYA IS CRAP and cry, but that's just what softwares are.. gotta learn them, it takes some time to get comfortable
>>
>>586507
>UI is made for humans, not like BLENDER, DUH
>First of all, learn the fucking hotkeys, that is do exactly what Blender user should do
kek

>>586502
go freelancing. Noone's going to ask you what do you work with as long as you're competent enough to deliver the model
>>
>The UI looks like it was made in the 90s.

It *was* made in the 90s...
