contemporary arts "community" is about politics..
but CGI is marketing/entertainment business, it can not be about politics.
if you want to ruin career before it even started....

PS: are you this guy? >>585056
>>
>>585078
How would anyone know theyre right wing?
>>
>>585102
>implying politics isn't part of the marketing/entertainment industry
>>
>>585110
Well animation movies (as most arts) have more of a leftist/progressive point of view (Zootopia being one of the biggest mainstream examples)
I think it would be interesting to have animation movies with some socially right wing ideals
>>
>>585078

Why do conservatives keep getting triggered so hard when they have to work in workplaces where everyone else isn't conservative. Bunch of fucking safe space wanting snowflakes who get their feelings hurt because they can't call black people "niggers" at work. Boo fucking hoo. Just shut your fucking mouth and do your fucking work and save your "jews jews jews" bullshit for when you get home and can go on /po/.
>>
>>585078
there is 3 types of artist 1 replaceable 2 hard to come by 3 vital un-replaceable
guess which one you have to be not to be fired on the spot for expressing your political views not just during working hours but outside and someone found out. So yeah i'm keep that shit on the DL if you want to survive or get really good what you do they can't do nothing but tolerate you.
>>
>>585162
are you afraid of alternative opinions?
>>
>>585167

Post your alternate opinions all you want on your blog but when you're at work I expect you to fucking shut up and work.
>>
>tfw accidently called 3d max a 'retarded piece of nigger shit' at work
>>
>>585162
Wtf dude, don't put words in my mouth. I'm not even a conservative. I just think it would be interesting to have differents points of views in the arts.
>>
>>585162
It's annoying when people talk politics at work, because it usually (d)evolves into large debates keeping them from actually working.

It's even more annoying when you're ancap and everyone else is going on about muh universal basic income and muh rich people
>>
>>585182

We do have different points of views in the arts. There's a shit load of conservative artists. I just thought you were the /pol/tard who was bitching and moaning in the other thread because he can't find a studio that only employs his superior Aryan ubermench.
>>
>>585183
>ancap

Yeah, they're the annoying ones.

I consider myself right-leaning on some issues and maybe just centrist on others, but for the most part politics doesn't have anything to do with 3D for me.

>>585151
>have more of a leftist/progressive point of view (Zootopia being one of the biggest mainstream examples)
It only seems like that on the surface for appeal purposes, but the more you read into the subtext of the movie, the more you realize that the creators weren't actually on liberal bullshit life support. The left and right react to emotion and facts respectively, for people who just came to watch a fun family film will walk away none the wiser, while people who scrutinize the plot will get the actual intentions, which aren't as indoctrination-driven as you think.

>>585181
Mistakes were made. Everyone knows that Max is the one shining light in this industry.

Depends what you call right-wing. Former (((Walt Disney Studios))) directors now working at Sony Pictures helped make this movie which had anti-Muslim immigration undertones in it. But as far as "right-wing" ideas go, blasting Muslims is still pretty tame and a very kosher thing to do.

As a matter of fact, Alex Jonestein does that very same thing in order to divert people's attention away from the Zionist Jews controlling the fed and the banks, by saying things like it's actually "the Muslims that run the federal reserve". Hah.

Beware of politics infiltrating your workplace. Especially kosher politics.
>>
>>585183
It's annoying when people talk politics at work because it causes rifts between people that otherwise got along just fine. I refuse to talk politics with people that aren't close friends or family because of this.
>>
Not animation, but the toy design company I work for has two partners and one is super leftwing while the other is super rightwing (but old school business right wing, not incelfag leech modern rightwing). My coworkers run the gradiant between.

Everyone gets along well somehow. We bond over making fun of the president.
>>
>>585078

There's a funny thing about right-wing/conservative communities of artists...

Oh wait. No there isn't. Because they don't exist.

Going out on a limb here and guessing that OP is the kinda douche who claims to be a champion of the libertarian values of individual free will and freedom of choice as long as those things don't affect him and aren't written into legislature; but is triggered to the point of having a coronary every time he hears someone say they use a Mac.
>>
>>585162
Dude, super-liberal here. But, y'know, also in my 30s so not an annoying screeching college student prick.

>>because they can't call black people "niggers" at work.

This is a total, bald-face, textbook strawman.
You and others on the left need to get over deploying this strawman that; to have a problem with PC is to just want the freedom to go around being racist or sexist or whatever.
There are *totally* legit reasons to dislike PC culture, that have nothing to do with wanting to be racist at all.

Example:

If I were talking to you and referred to a black person as 'a colored person', you would look at me like I'm from the fucking 1950s or something, and write me off as the most out-of-touch bigoted douchebag you ever met.
If, on the other hand, I used the current PC-approved terminology to refer to a black person: 'person of color' you'd be totally chill because that's the term that's ok - for the moment.

'Colored person' = hateful, belittling, racist.
'Person of color' = totally woke, perfectly ok.

Please explain to me the difference, syntactically, semantically, technically between the terms 'colored person' and 'person of color'. Pro-tip; you can't.

That, right there, is one perfectly legit reason to have a problem with the ever-shifting, meaningless, nebulous shower of shit that is PC terminology. Again - I'm a liberal saying this to you.

>to have a problem with PC is to just want the freedom to go around being racist or sexist or whatever.

In other words you want to go around and act however much the douchebag you want to but you want to be insulated from the consequences that come with acting like a douchebag.

Poor baby. Actions have consequences. What a mean liberal world it is.
>>
>>585471
The problem with PC is not the fact that it aims at racism and sexism or whatever. The problem is that it establishes a censor system which will be abused to silence critics and other activities which are not in the interest of the ruling elite.

Its a similar problem with the forced dualism of extreme left and extreme right.
Its fabricated and irrelevant to distract from the fact that UP and DOWN are the important directions.
>>
>>585471
Did you even read that post?

Anon pretty clearly explains how this;

>>In other words you want to go around and act however much the douchebag

is not what people are looking for when they complain about political correctness, and then gives a pretty easy to understand example of one of PC's contradictions.

Can you even?
>>
>>585479

I agree, but I'd add (and this is my own conspiracy theorist opinion, I make no claims of it being anything more), PC is abused as tool of class-warfare: used by white people against white people.

Middle and upper-tier white societies that are largely kept separate from non-white groups via the invisible walls erected by wealth, class and status, often find that PC is incredibly handy tool for beating down white-working class people whenever they get uppity about their situation, as well as to use as barometer of social superiority.

'Oh you have a problem with mexican migrants? Well, I don't - they've never given me any cause to mistrust them! You're just a racist!' - the fact that this person has never fucking met a Mexican is not mentioned.

So, white ruling class liberals can force low-education, low-status white people to jump through the hoops of their language rules, and if I they make it through, they will then castigate the lower classes for being concerned about things that are *never* going to affect them, using PCs demands for tolerance and understanding as a stick to beat them with.

Pretty handy. And also totally fucked.

I work with a pretty Indian Tech Designer who is a big trump supporter. Really open about it.

Myself I don't like mixing politics and work, my boss is the boss on the other hand and is always sharing the latest "Trump threw paper towels, THE FUCKING MONSTER! Videos". My boss isn't petty enough to fire him, but the fact that he's great at what he does and didn't get his proposed raise is very questionable. The boss is always saying dumb shit to him in a passive manner. Like he implied he was somehow against sending hurricane relief because he is conservative.

People these days are far to stupid to put politics aside, so I don't say anything or just nod. Many higher ups really are petty enough to not hire or promote people for politics, even at the expense of hurting their own company. No sense letting them know I voted Trump, I work with too many latte sipping hipsters who complain of back pain after moving boxes for a day.

The biggest bugmen I have ever witnessed were liberal signally "artists".
Luckily, the better you get, the fewer of them you have to work with, because mastery requires hard work and intelligence.

sony pictures also are the only people that have guaranteed work coming their way, remember, most of the work is done through bidding, and many people work for nothing
