How do I git gud with rigging in Cinema 4D?
I already pirated a few Lynda courses but they never go in depth to rigging and don't seem to understand the principles themselves very well in the first place anyway.
Where/how do I learn the principles, good practices, theory and general dos and don'ts? All tuts just draw a joint skeleton and bind that shit. It looks like shit and they end the screencast with "welp it looks kinda bad but hey just fix it with the weight tool". I want to understand constraints, IK chains, poles, etc.
Any help appreciated.

I will unironically le upboat this suggestion.

Cinema 4D doesn't have mirror weights tools, and awful copy weights tool. What a disgrace.

And waste years of your life achieving nothing but garbage virtue signaling. Because using Blender is truly a statement that you love garbage.

If he was still alive I would have never switched to Blender.
