Hi guys !
I'm learning new 3D technics, specially for the skin and I've just made this image.

What do you think ?
I'm using Maya and Vray

I only used textures from the game (Uncharted 3)

It looks alright but something feels weird, I don't know what though. Oh and his beard looks like he smeared crap on his face.
>>
it looks good, but definetly its not something "human", its more like a toy, plastic toy. Maybe because theres not much of SSS and maybe because the glossiness is high. I dont know, but this is what i feel

I used SSS2 yes. It's almost new for me, I followed a tutorial found on YouTube :)
>>
>I made x!
No... you didnt. You loaded a model into your 3d package and did the most basic lighting possible. This is the same mentality pozer/daz users have about "making" art.

Totally ! Yes I loaded the model, extracted from the game, yes I put some basics lights, of course ! I just wanted to test the skin tutorial I followed XD
You're funny and a bad reader :)

And this is the final image.
What do you think guys ?
(I totally dunno how to modelise so models are found on the internet.)
