can this level of work find a job?
>can this level of work find a job?no. but its passable for majority of mobile games
>>574647It could, in the Nintendo DS / early 3DS era. And yes, in mobile games.Tbh I would fucking love to play a PC game with this graphic style
>>574661I love that era too.I am thinking of applying for mobile games as it seems easier
>>574691poor linework at the face.too bad because the body texture is great. i know its hard to make mouth's but don't just draw a flat line.put it 2 more hours and your shit will be production ready
>>574647>can this level of work find a job?f2p games need people of your caliber so they can pay you low wages.you need a f2p entry level job because you have zero weight to your resume.win-win.
hahah lol prety cool I also love 3DS LD:
Model looks good, texture painting style works quite well and style is nice, however your UV layout is not organized and seems all over the place leaving with a lot of waste. Take a look at a bunch of old texture layouts in this thread:>>567101Also your textel density is also all over the place too; things like the face should have more resolution.
why is her face so square? it looks ugly.
>>574647mobile game maybe
How about mine? Is this enough to land me a job?
>>576868yes
>>574691>How about mine? Is this enough to land me a job?>>574647go apply to jagex
>>576868Why are their torsos compressed into their pelvises?
>>577223yet again unrealistic female body expectations baka.
>>577250Just proportions. Those legs are incredibly disproportionate in terms of length.
>be me>can't find a 3d jobwut do?>pic related
>>577625https://www.artstation.com/artwork/41nd8Nice try, but I recognize those folds.
>>577250>>576868Legs got way more realistic proportions, which make their torso look really weird. You should make legs shorter to match a more chibi-like proportion.
>>576868Here's a suggested edit
>>577625how about posting your work?
>>577223>>577253I once did a very very low poly model based on a Bratz dolls and I kinda liked it. So when I did these models I used those proportions.Yeah, with time they started to look a bit off to me too.>>577637Kinda like it too, but arms look too long.
>>577750This was that low poly model in case someone wants to see it.306 triangles.
>>577750>>577761Ahh, I see, but the Bratz aren't as "thicc" as your models so I think the proportions kind of work for them.Just keep working at it
>>577771Also here's an arm shortening edit if you need some kind of visual
>>576868Legs
>>577776Yes, that looks better. Thanks.
>>574647Maybe look for a paid internship. You enter those jobs under the premise of being somewhat experienced in the field, so they'll take you in and complete your training, then try to hire you on, later. Some of them are paid. Just make a portfolio and send it out. Disney is big on finding fresh talent.
You could probably get some decent gigs doing mobile
