How do I model this iron band without having to create 5 other triangles and loft them together?
I made the other one in freecad but decided to learn fusion360 since it is free for right now.

use a real 3d program

if you could """acquire""" a copy of solidworks or inventor, you'd be in good shape

If I had to make that shape, I would use a single spline to outline the path of the shape, then create an additional triangle to loft down the path, using the parameters to graduate the thickness. In max that would be.
