Does anyone know what kind of shader is use here?
>>
>>564366
no
>>
>>564366
looks like a simple diffuse with no speculars. and its lit by multiple lights
>>
>>564368
nope
>>
>>564370
oh yeah, theres also that shitty outline that doesn't even match the shading style.
>>
>>564373
no, its not that. Theres obviously signs of pseudo ss
>>
>>564366
looks cool though...
>>
>>564374
its way too subtle then. cuz it looks straight diffuse
>>
>>564380
its pre convolved sss. Its obvious
>>
>>564382
obviously subtle...
>>
>>564389
sss is a subtle effect. look at your own skin now - it doesnt look like wax, it looks almost diffuse except for your eyears

not bad. they don't look like the typical DAZ models, also the hair is very good. too bad about the shitty unnecessary outlines though.

That's the Visual Styles shader and Geometry Shell outliner shader for Daz Studio.

Techniques to get softly lit surfaces like that is related to normal and view vector calculations.
Look into valves popular 'half-lambert' or any 'falloff' type shaders to get ideas of how to get shading like that.
Various combinations of Perpendicular/parallel and towards/away type falloff as self illumination is what you want.

These are all dirt cheap effects to render and it's surprising how underused and relatively obscure they are.

I'm sure at least the hair on the left is a ripped sims mod
