Hey, check what I've done

Created with Vectary / rendered with V-Ray

Looks like you spent more time doing detail work, and not focusing on big forms

Hmm, might be... This how it looked like before rendering in V-Ray and after bake in Vectary
>>

I'd say the opposite, all this looks like to me is big forms with the only detail work being material/ displacement based.
>>
>>560357
you need to worry about V-Ray less and worry about design and anatomy more
>>
>>560357
You got some stuff right, but it still feels like a blob monster.

The brow and cheekbones are pretty nice tho.
>>
These tusks are crazy... :)
>>
why do you use a shit program like vectary but have a nice rendering engine like v-ray. L3@rn anatomy and proper 3-D first.

Ok, so you are a moron? If that post was with a description that It was made with 3ds Max than what? So only when you are using max, maya and zbrush you are good enough, right? Regarding anatomy: What if he was modelling it as a sci-fi figure with no human anatomy reference? BECAUSE alien doesn't need to have same anatomy as HUMAN!
>>
>>561234
doesn't matter when making organics there is always some rules in anatomy that you should follow so you don't end up with an amorphous blob shaped monster like OP has. looks like he blocked out basic shapes and then went straight into dealing instead of slowly building up detail.

Eyebrows are qute cool...
>>
>>560357
first of all need more anatomy
secondly the texture sucks and looks procedural
>>
Looks like something from 90s game, but in new gen high poly. I love it.
>>
>>560357
Not too bad....Never heard of Vectary before btw. Did someone have any experience with it? I see it's free and it asked for signup
>>
>>560357
With those horns sticking out so far, I would kind of biologicallly expect a larger mouth. Looks a bit unnatural I guess
>>

Yea, but if you create aliens you don't know what is their "nature". Just look ants for example who are not even aliens.

I see your point and agree. Well argued.
